I'll try save everyone (or those i like) in my normal 1st play through. then ill try a full renegade play through, and well, if my Shepard isn't dead after that- the 3rd play through will be to kill her to see what happens.

My "main" Shep? Not even sure I have a main one, but... probably not. The characters I transfer over will go all the way, but I will probably start a new ME2 Shep just for that experience, and then... yes, watch him burn.

Seeing as how if you kill Shepard you don't get a save to carry over to ME3 then no. This is pretty stupid in my opinion though. It would be cool if you could take a save where you died over to the sequel and see how you actually dying and staying dead would effect the rest of the story. Oh well.

Canon playthrough I will survive and save everyone.



2nd playthrough I might try the absolute bloodbath.



Subsequent playthroughs I might see what happens when specific team members die at the end.

My "Douche Shep" Will most likely die. I made her for the sole purpose of being as big a jerk to everyone as possible, and getting the bleakest possible permutation of mass effect too. It's a shame too - I was looking forward to screwing ME3 over with my choices as well.

Shepard will only die depending on certain choices that you've made throughout the entire game.

- My main Shepard, i.e. Dave Shepard, will try his hardest to survive, along with as many squadmates as possible so he is suited to go into ME3 (cos, y'know, he can't really go through if his dead)

- Julian Shepard, my latest Shepard who I don't actually like and made just for the sake of it, will be the first person I throw through, if not Dave, and I will not waste too much time on his survival and won't care too much if he dies.

- Marco Shepard, my 'Renegade with Paragon qualities', would ideally survive ME2, but if Julian does survive, I'm considering letting him pull a heel-face turn before sacrificing himself (if possible, of course)

I don't even know the names of the two FemSheps I made, so I'll just take it as it comes for them.

I'll also make a Shepard just for the sake of killing him, and call him Fail Shep.

I don't think they'll be random choices, per se, I think it'd be pretty easy to tell whether or not said choice will affect the endgame.

That being said, I think it'd be pretty nice if Shepard makes some kind of noble sacrifice so that his LI will survive(if a bit of a WTF moment for the player after all the hard work they put into romancing them).

Yeah, I just hope there are some foreseeable consequences. I'm a completionist, so I ALWAYS finish a game to 100 percent. I just hope that doesn't end with my team surviving every time.

I'll play as I always play - to win. But if the plan gets shot to hell (usually) then i will hurt the reapers/collectors so much they will damn well know when my successor beats the crap out of them.

I wasn't chosen because I was the only one around, but because I'm the only one who can get it done AND survive.

In order for Shepard to die, you really have to fail epically at the majority of the game and presumably make some stupid choices in the final mission as well. It's not like it's a choice you make whether to sacrifice yourself or not. Dying = failure in this game.

Therefore no, I will not allow my Shepard to die unless it naturally happens based upon the choices I choose to make.
