I am currently investigating to see if it is possible to use some (slightly) outdated tools to mod with the new and improved 3DS Max 2014. So far, DA:O Model and Animation Import Export (3dsmax and gmax) has worked, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the textures show up. Everything is just gray.
I have made it so that the .dds files from texture.erf are available to the tool as per instructions in the readme file, but no luck. This used to do the trick in older versions as far as I can tell, but I haven't tried it myself as I only have 3DS Max 2014.
Anyone have any ideas?
