Yeah. He used all his consumables as last survivor... but he simply didn`t know what to do against horde of Geth following the prime.
I wish I could have helped him.. but I died before him so I couldn`t.

Surprisingly he was playing duration drell infiltrator. If he was really good enough to play without consumables, he could have easily soloed the entire wave 3 though... but I could tell that he lacks the skill to handle such situation.


If I knew he was that committed... I would have definitely helped him out more seriously.


Here is how I died.
2 people died fairly quickly and never got up. Drell infiltrator was busy holding on his own.
...so I started the device hack which had enemies all around it.

As a duration infiltrator they all ignored my clocked character.. except a bomber which was right on tope of device.
Bomber shocked me 3 times in a row.. and I died.  Obviously I didn`t care...

You should always carry them pugs to victory on bronze to platinum and only kick missile glitchers.

There is a cynical saying in germany: Team is short for "Toll Ein Anderer Macht's" - "Great, someone else will do the job". If you pug, you will encounter that poor attitude very often, sadly.

Gold has become a wasteland with very poor standards. The amount of people without any gels and/or rockets is crazy, not to mention consumable equipment. I worked hard for that manifest without ever cheating or leeching, but it has been lot's of fun minus the griefing provided by bleeders. In the last days of that game I like to enjoy my matches, so potential leeches will get kicked out without remorse. There is a difficulty selector for a reason.

Hundrets of games soloing where I used up all my stuff while the rest of the "team" was in spectator mode are more than enough. You want shiny weapons? Pay your duty in the lower difficulties and earn them. Period.

What a childish behaviour OP! You should sharpen your skills and learn to carry pugs on Gold instead of trolling them. I have no problem if people don't put on equipment on Gold - because I don't rely on the team to win the game. I have my mind set to carry them anyway if necessary and do everything to help them get through it. My nephew was new to the game and had not many consumables to use or good gear to put on, it didn't prevent me to carry him and his rookie friends through a lot of Gold matches with about a 95% succes rate. Many people like TMB are doing the same and I like and adore them for it. Stop whining about bad pugs and learn to carry like a boss...or go and play lolsilver.

Noone here is whining. I trust that the OP is perfectly able to carry. But contrary to you the OP does understand that this is a coop game.

Great job in supporting the greedy and stingy attitude. Learning curve to actually learn how to play the game and have fun? Nah, the others will do the job for me. And getting imaginary weapons is so much better than actually having fun, eh?

What about the newer players that are really trying and have to burn through their stuff just to witness the idiots bleeding out every wave? They have to replace the stuff while the leechers get the credits for free. It's frustrating, and quite friendly, it's griefing. Lot's of good promising players stopped exactely because of that.

Drell cannot hack alone. A complete hack going 25% speed is mathematically impossible.

If I am using full level 3/ level 4 equipment with Harrier X + 37000 challenge points...
You can safely assume that I won`t leech off of you.

The truth is that.. there is absolutely no reason not to put on equipments in Gold/Plat games.
Don`t tell me someone does not have them.. we all have something.

It`s not like I was expecting them to beat the game for me. I need no credit, but I was curious what they are capable of.
Were they expecting me to beat the game for them? I don`t know, but I know they were expecting more out of other teammates than each one of themselves.

I carried enough PuGs to proudly say that I did my doody for Public game & ME3 MP popularity promotion.

I never use gear on the first match when i join a lobby, chances are that the lag is awfull and/or the other players are aswell. I can hold my own on gold with no equipment.
If the team does decent, i use full equipment in the following matches.

Seems pointless if i am quitting at wave 1  due to lag, or everyone but me is bleeding out, ans since cryo ammo would make no difference in the classes i favor it seems stupid to equip things to just equip them. <_<

Edit: Not that i dont Understand your frustration, but keep in mind when people join with X rare adn ultra weapons they might not need the equipment and are cheapasses like me that want to check out the connection before starting to go all in.

People still assume I'm leeching if I get dropped into a match sans equipment and don't do well, and I get kicked after the match.

You cannot assume that people will know you're not leeching.

In fact, my game with the angry scots a few days back, they said I was leeching when I actually had a better score than them and helped with objectives.

Personally, I like to see what makes people so damn confident with their no consumables. I'd say about 15 out of 20 times it's a failure. Other times with being few and far between they are actually good. Op, there was nothing wrong about what you did. It's their overconfidence that got the better of them.

But you're right; I always use equipment and do whatever it takes to keep the match going, even if it means breaking my back and going out of pocket for a lost cause.
