I was hoping the collector's edition of this game would be called the Reaper's Edition. They could've had it reaper-themed with the materials that came with the game narrated by Harbinger. It'd be pretty funny.
On that subject, Mass Effect 1 Collector's Edition and Mass Effect 2 Collector Edition both had a bonus DVD (which both contain a HUGE OCD nightmare with me by the way: Why the heck can't I watch them on any DVD Player? I can only watch them on an Xbox 360, and my living room TV is a little better than my game room's), but the Mass Effect 3 CE didn't. I wish it had one, I'd have loved to see some behind the scenes footage of them making this game...

In ME1 they didn't wear it. I think that whole "controversy" Fox News had with it back in the day had something to do with underwear being required n 2 and 3
For some reason, that doesn't apply to Liara.
It also didn't apply to the Banshees who run around buck-ass nude. So obviously, only human sexy bits will scar children for life.

Yeah, it is kinda sad that Fox got all hot and bothered over the fact that, in Mass Effect 1, you could see some nipples and see the intercourse happening somewhat. What makes it even sadder is the fact that they got all hot and bothered over this, but not over Dragon Age: Origins, in which the nudity was clear as day. So I can understand why BioWare decided to put underwear on all the characters during the "sex scenes", but, if I was BioWare, I would've just disregarded what just one news source said, and instead kept the underwear off.
As for the case in Mass Effect 3 in which Liara did not have any underwear on...yeah it is kind of silly. Though it is pretty funny that Fox News (or, as some call it "Faux News") did not get all hot and bothered again. Change of heart? Or maybe they are just waiting to bash Grand Theft Auto V...who knows. All I know is it is silly getting all hot and bothered over a sicence fiction video game, and not over the many (albeit far lower budget) "games" that are contorversial for controversy's sake.

Shepard's movement speed dropping to syrup in winter levels if any bullets are making contact, even if they aren't through her shield yet.

Anderson: ... we're sending you right up the gut, where the resistance is thickest.
BioShep: Oorah.
*Facepalm* After that wouldn't have been surprised if they had started chanting "U.S.A." (ad infinitum) during their way through the generic maps that where (allegedly) London. *Sigh*

- why are Turian/Asari/Salarian/Krogan and other human soldiers all in their armor....but whenever the best and most badass soldier in the galaxy goes to the Citadel, he's dressed like a diplomat or an average Pvt. on shore leave?
-can't bring squadmates with you around the Citadel hub
- not many paragon interrupts during combat/action sequences

2. "Maybe the next time we go to war the Alliance can spring for air support..." I don't got anything against Liara, but man I just wanted to backhand her for that comment.
3. Left handed salutes, seriously even North Korea simple **** like this right.
4. Extreme lack of Miranda
5. EDI
6. Voice acting in Omega. Its like Carrie Anne Moss was bored out of her mind while recording Aria.
7. The photo shop of Tali's face... they should have just trolled deviant art for an hour and paid someone to use one of those pictures.
8. Shepard's whole "Woe is me" act and general moping around after Thessia.

It could have had something to do with the entire situation arrising from Fox interviewing an author of a book about video games who lambasted ME for it's 'pornographic sex' based solely on a conversation she had with some other person. So it's not that Fox got 'hot and bothered' by sex in ME; it's that they got 'hot and bothered' by an author who was, supposedly, a subject matter expert who claimed there was pornography in games children were playing.
Context. What a wierd thing, eh? Heck, I don't even watch Fox...SOBs canceled FIREFLY!!!!! But I do believe when slamming someone we should be accurate. So slam them for not doing better background research on so called experts before a book interview.
Another silly irritation...Aria shouting, "I. Am. OMEEEGA!" Yeah yeah, ok. You're Omega. What exactly does that mean? Ship crews keep docking in your ports? To much info. I know everyone likes punching that reporter but personally I'd rather just punch Aria.

In the second game, you had the option between a metallic look, to downright beamless carbon fiber. In the first game, I always wore the light Onyx armor, because it had this slender, Sam Fisher-ish plastic/synthetic material look, very appropriate for an Infiltrator. In ME3, I can't really say what the difference is supposed to be, aside from 5 different kinds of reflections on what appears to be the same material.
You asked for silly.

I just realised this yesterday: Joker on the Normandy does not have any animations. Everyone on board has some default idling animations, pressing some buttons on their holo-panels or whatever (for most, the hands clip horribly into the consoles but that's ok). Only Joker sits there like he melted down all his medals and made a statue of himself, he even has his hands in this position where you'd think he's just about to do something but he never does.
Is that the case for everyone or did I somehow screw up his animations in my game?
Oddly, he actually does have animation, but only his head moves, and it's in such subtle degrees that it might as well not move at all. It's also kind of strange how EDI is the one that moves about the most in her seat next to him, and she has this weird handwaving gesture, rather than manipulating the holographic controls.

True. But that didn't help me. I wanted to do some nice flycam shots of Joker but forget it. Only thing he does have is lip sync when he talks. Hmmm, maybe it's just an unlinked animation though, that might be fixable.KaiserShep wrote...

As for EDI, to me it looks like the hand wave was meant to be on the hologramm in front of her. Joker does that movement quite often in cutscenes to reposition panels on his screen (e.g. the cockpit scene in the EC endings). The positioning is just "slightly" worng.

I'll never understand why anyone liked her. She's just an obnoxious **** and apparently a favorite of the writers because of all the fanservice we got with her in ME3.
Like, really, Aria can influence the Council? She's just a petty criminal, and if she has some kind of incriminating information, the Council has Spectres and the STG to eliminate Terminus-based problem individuals. Apparently that's what Spectres do the majority of the time. So why is Aria still alive? And why can't we kill her? That'd brighten my day, at least.

With the hope of not turning this thread into an Aria-focused character discussion:
Because of politics. The Terminus systems are somewhat important to the galactic construct as a whole.
It's pretty much like Donovan Hock says in the obnoxious speech during his fête: People like her are necessary devices to keep everything in place. Sometimes things just need to stay the way they are, despite how wretched they seem at face-value. For a multitude of complicated reasons - Aria may seem like a ruthless, self-absorbed crime lord (and she probably is), but she also helps Omega to stay what it is.
Given its scale, I'd wager the galactic council benefits from the Terminus systems and Omega as they are. Much like real governments "cultivate" rebel militia and dictators in distant countries, to tip the odds ultimately in their favor against other militia and dictators.
Of course all of this is not explicitely stated in the games, but I just think this may be the intended reason. Oh well.
