Am1_vf, I could only hope that Meredith's armor reappears in DAI... so that I can use the console command, or use a mod to replace Cassandra armor if shes able to be romanced

I don't know man, saying to someone like Cassandra "can you dress like this other woman from Kirkwall who went nuts" seems dangerous. Do it at your own risk, I prefer her as she is now.

The game was written with Meredith as a psychopath .
Nothing hawke could do about that.
Meredith was not a psychopath. She was a disturbed woman, a PTSD victim, who never got over the death of her entire family caused by her sister, who turned into an abomination. They sheltered her from the Templar's because they knew she couldn't pass their rigorous tests in the circle.
When looking at the psychological aspects of this character she does not meet the criteria of a common psychopath. Meredith shows too much emotions.. well prior to the lyrium idol that is.
You get to meet Meredith personal side http://youtu.be/JR8MZmzZ25k?t=1m45s, and not just the Templar version.
You can hear the emotions coming out of this woman. The horrors of having to witness her own family getting murdered by her own posessed sister who turned into an Abomination. She probably blames herself for the death of her family plus the 70 innocence. This probably explains her brutal ways. She's trying her best to avoid this same scenario from ever happening to another family again.
So to get back to Aveline and Hawke... Aveline did exactly the opposite that Meredith was trying to do to keep Kirkwall safe. She allowed an abomination to roam freely as Guard Captain. And Hawke didn't get wealthy by being the adverage good citizen. He got most of his money through crime. Just look at how he got into the city in the first place... Doing smugglers work or doing Mercencry work that requires killing people.

I could care freaking less about Meredith. She should NOT have been ALLOWED to lead with her past.
And here's a reminder that Templars sexually abuse mages. You seem to have forgotten.

And heres 2 more photos for your pleasure

and right after I heard this
I felt bad about killing her master.Yes Im well aware of the sexual abuse against the mages in the circle, and that should be addressed... but unfortunetly due to Game mechanics we wern't able to astablish this goal in the game.
Not all Templars are bad. At least Ser Emeric pays for his needs at the blooming rose

Yes, and the same applies to Cullen. Must be Chantry politics in Kirkwall. And whose fault was that?
Elthina: quick, I need another PTSD templar who was traumatized by mages, just in case. Hmm, that Fereldan looks promising. Let's request him.
Lord Raijin, you get +100 approval from me for being dashing commader Stannard's loyal knight and the only sane mage in Kirkwall. And she looks gorgeous even without her armor. imageshack.us/a/img46/2999/mme0.jpg
... And -20 approval for bashing Aveline. Aveline is not saint, she has flaws just like the other characters. Her loyalty to Hawke (which was not explained enough in the game) sometimes conflicts with her own position, which is clear on the rivalry path. Her role is actually akin to Meredith, to protect the city. And I think they both were honest about it, but failed.
(Just in case, approval thing is a joke, I don't mean to offend you. Happy to see another Meredith fan, they are rare).
DarthLaxian, I agree with you, but trailer looks exactly like doom and gloom. I mean, they even covered Varric's chesthair. If that's not a bad sign, I don't know what is.

You get 200+ approval from me for posting a link to that photo of Meredith:wub: and for being a Meredith fan
I'm techically not bashing Aveline... just stating the facts. If her loyalty to Hawke effects the way she does her job as Guard captain then perhabs she needs to either quit coddling Hawke and to her job or submit her resignation.
Just remember this (In general)
Corrupt
Adjective
Having or showing a willingness to act dishonestly in return for money or personal gain.
Verb
Cause to act dishonestly in return for money or personal gain.
Aveline fits the definition of a currupted Guard when she uses Hawke for her own personal gain. it's ok for Hawke to keep doing criminal like behaviors in the city... for as long as Aveline can get a piece of the pie as well.

Damn, that sneaky English... corruption means only bribes for personal enrichment in my language. The term we use in other case is nepotism.
So I just misunderstood you, all is well.
