It says original game soundtrack unlike everything else. Meaning it's included just for kicks....a nice bonus. It's NOT in the ME2 game.

If you look at that its only because you searched "mass effect 2 soundtrack", naturally it found M4 pt II because in search filters II = 2. Also, look at the album, it says its from "Mass
Effect (Original Game Soundtrack)" Not "Mass
Effect 2 [Explicit]"

Exactly....here's what you get if you click on the ME2 album on that very page: http://www.amazon.co...846350&sr=301-1

Yeah I had realized that after I looked at it closer, I just pulled the link from another thread.

Though, if it just filtered out the "II" why wouldn't it also include all of the other Mass Effect soundtracks?

Whatever the song is from the movie Sunshine, that one would be perfect.

Edit: found it B)

Because they didn't have any "2" or "II" anywhere in them while "M4 Part II(Faunts)" DID have a "II" in it.

Depending on how ME2 ends "The end is the beginning is the end" by The Smashing Pumpkins is definitely a good choice. If only "The watchmen" didn't use it in their trailer... .

Makes sense.

Now, why does the first soundtrack CD have the end-credit song and the second one seems to be missing it?  Unless the end credits are composed by the game track composer.

They all seem to be made by EA studios in ME2 and it's hard to say which(if any of them) is/are the end credits track. Though they all list only one artist, Jack Wall, so it is possible they left out the credits song(s) so that those who want the song will have to buy the respective artists' CDs or tracks separately.....all depends on the contract they had with those bands or singers.

What I missed in the first game was different ending credit songs that would play during credits depending on how good or evil you played.

Well here goes my list of credit songs for ME2. But be forwarned: I'm not a fan or mainstream music.
I like symbolism, so songs resemble what may or could happen in the end. IE:>> bad ending for me:::: only Sheperd survives.

what's with all of the extreme metal tracks? if you're going down that route, go with this:

Now to let your ears adjust with something relaxing:

Whatever the song is, I hope it isn't as bad as that audio filth at the end of DA.

"A Looking In View" the lyrics are perfect:

Life damaged gears to grind
A run down broke machine
That steals your peace of mind
Before you know it's gone

Lay down
Lay...

Silence burning, hold your tongue
Keep us separate so they'll know

Hiding in the darkness under
Pulling to the surface
Stumble, fall

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense in a low life

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense in a low life

These things I hate in you
Also reflect it seems
Distortion laced with spite
Takes you out of me

Lay down
Lay...

Hiding in the darkness under
Pulling to the surface, somethin'
Crawling on your skin, discomfort
Makes you break and run
Stumble, fall

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense in a low life

A looking in view too long on the outside
Desperate plans make sense in a low life

I'm glad we agree!

There are just some lines from the song that seem to fit perfectly with the general vibe of the game.

No matter how many times that you told me you wanted to leave
No matter how many breaths that you took you still couldn't breathe
No matter how many nights did you lie
Wide awake to the sounds of the pausing rain
Where did you go? Where did you go? Where did you go?
(Heartbeat, a heartbeat, I need a heartbeat...)

Tell me would you kill to save a life?
Tell me would you kill to prove you're right?
Crash, crash, burn, let it all burn
This sorry can't change things, I so long to cry

No matter how many deaths I die, I will never forget
No matter how many lies I live, I will never regret
There's a fire inside,
Of this heart, a riot about to explode into flames
Where is your God?
Where is your God?
Where is your God?

Do you really want?
Do you really want me?
Do you really want me dead or alive to torture for myself?

Do you really want?
Do you really want me?
Do you really want me dead or alive to live alone?
(A heart beat, a heart beat, I need a heart beat
You know I gotta leave, I can't stay, I know I gotta go, I can't stay)

Tell me would you kill to save your life?
Tell me would you kill to prove you're right?
Crash, crash, burn, let it all burn
This hurricane's chasing us all underground

You say you're wrong, you're wrong, I'm right, I'm right, you're wrong, we fight
Ok, I'm running from the light, running from the day to night
Oh, the quiet silence defines our misery
The riot inside keeps trying to visit me
No matter how we try, it's too much history
Too many bad notes playing in our symphony
So let it breathe, let it fly, let it go
Let it fall, let it crash, burn slow
And then you call upon God
You call upon God

Tell me would you kill to save a life?
Tell me would you kill to prove you're right?
Crash, crash, burn, let it all burn
This hurricane's chasing us all underground
Oh, oh, woah

Do you really want?
Do you really want me?
Do you really want me dead or alive to tortue for myself?
Do you really want?
Do you really want me?
Do you really want me dead or alive to live alone?

Running away from the night
Running away from the light
Running away to save your life

That was actually very good :o Amorphis' latest album is awesome. I even got to see them live a month ago, and a really good gig it was.

My pick would be something dark and emotionally engaging, like Opeth - The Drapery Falls.
