44 years ago on July 20, 1969 Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin became the first humans, in the history of mankind, to set foot on another planetary body. Here is my attempt to recreate that event.

Using all stock parts. No mods were used. Building separate Command/Service Module, Munar Lander and Ascent Modules turned into a bit of a challenge getting all the parts to hold together.
