What kit should I use it on to make the most of it? (even if I don't have said kit, I've used it with the Cabal already)
I've just recently got a N7 Slayer and named him, I've seen Moby play with him, so I know he's pretty good.
Any builds or suggestions?

As does the Prollector with his 10% Collector Bonus
TGI works well too.
Edit: As for builds for the N7 Obliterate-Entire-Battlefield-er.
Biotic Charge: Radius/Power Syn/Barrier
Phase Disrupter: Damage/Efficient/Armor Damage
Passives: Power+Capacity/Power/Weapon
Fitness: Durability/Melee Synergy/Power Synergy
Trick for the N7 Slayer is that after charge, you can essentially pull off 5 PDs. So, before engaging, shoot enemy with 3-5 PD, then charge, then shoot 3-5 more, then mash LIGHT MELEE for 90% DR(!!!).
If there are a few loose stragglers and you have lots of shields left from a recent BC, heavy melee kill one of them for the power synergy bonus and PD spam the rest of the map.
Equip Talon + Disrupter ammo for massive amounts of Tech bursts.
Because of the way tech bursts work, you can shoot + PD 4x in a row for 4 consecutive Tech bursts, killing ANY humanoid targets nearby at the bottom of the clip.

This should explain everything about shield gate.
Also, you should check out the stickied resource library. You may learn a lot.

Where is this?
It is linked in the post. Just click on "This". Oh, the linked thread is talking about enemies' shield gates but players also have shield gates which work a bit differently.

I like this build a lot. Great tips! I will try so solo with it.

Important thing is the PPR does more damage when ramped up and makes a characteristic sound when it's close to running out of ammo. Instead of pointing and shooting, pointing and shooting keep it ramped up as you move from enemy to enemy. Clip is a must; damage barrel or HVB are both good depending on what ammo type you use.
Oh yeah don't run it on a Drell, it's just

GG's Argent... sooooooo sleepy
Having builds to start from are much better for learning than just guessing. lol
I was really surprised I did pretty good the Cerberus Reactor match, but you were at a disadvantage. Not being able to see Turrets and Phantoms sounds like a nightmare.
