I'm thinking Warp ammo. Overload, Warp, headshots with Warp ammo. Not sure I'll be able to get the Tech Burst in between with a 142% cooldown. Need to check that.
But with a shield recharge time of 1.7 seconds and 50% DR from Tech Armor....who cares!

This is my current build and loadout. It's very different from yours and here's what I think :Ghostknife72 wrote...
Hmmm...might try this build out later....loving the Argus lately. His passive stability and damage boost is good for headshots with the Argus triple burst in addition to landing the AP round with the BPP.

- Why Warp ammo ? It will only be useful on warped targets and you can cast Warp once every 3.7 seconds. Warp and Overload are 2 detonators, use ammo that prime things : Incendiary !
- Only 3 ranks in Warp ! Go for 6 ranks please

- In my opinion, the Power Recharge as 6th evo from Tech Armor is much better than the 10% DR, especially for heavy loadouts like yours.

Look at the differences (and this isn't a criticism of your build, more of how we are trying to achieve two different things).
You are going to spam IA and detonate FE everywhere. But if you are brought to shield gate you'll take almost 4 seconds to start shield regen. That's a long time. Plus you are only at 40% DR, not bad, but I'll take a 10% extra DR everytime. You have an extra 600 shields with the CMIII. On higher difficulties that 600 won't amount to much, imho.
My build, I have a 1.72 shield regen time (1.29 if I take cover before I get to shield gate). I can be back up and shooting before you are finished regenerating your shields. That means I have the potential to get off another 3288 pts of damage per burst, if I land headshots. Which with 55% stability, I have a good chance of getting.
So basically, I hit Overload to stun and strip shields, shoot, hit Warp (if I get the TB shields any enemies remaining shields are gone), shoot some more with Warp bonus damage. Repeat.
And if the situation arises, I have 50% DR. That can be huge, again imho.
Again, this is only a thought experiement right now. I'll need to test it's effectiveness. It will come down to if I can get the TB off in time.

Remember, I'm not trying to go for FE's everywhere. Rather something a little...different.

Argus seems pretty good on him, but I prefer to use the saber on him with disruptor rounds or AP rounds.

Why u no max warp? And who says you have to use Incenidary cheese? AP ammo works great too.
Go 5/6/6/6/3 if you want a little extra kick from Overload, or 3/6/6/6/5 for more fitness.

Not exactly a kit I've played a lot, but I'd always take expose at rank 5 of Warp. It's too good to pass up.Ghostknife72 wrote...

Not sure why, tbh. I think it's just a lack of a dodge I didn't like.

Just to get the Warp bonus from Warp ammo. True, I'm missing out on the Expose option, but that can be almost made up for with the 12.50% from rank 6 of the passives tree. But again, it limits the bonus only to me, not my entire team.
I really like the low shield regen time and DR option. He's pretty tough to down with that combo.

Yea, Saber has always been a favorite of mine since the beginning.
I'm trying to work with the Argus more now though. It's ROF is about that same as the Saber (3 round burst vs. single shot with the crosshair reset). So it will do slightly more damage than the Saber, provided you land all three shots. But with 55% stability, it's pretty easy to do.

Well, about the "higher difficulties" thing, I carry Gold PUGs on a regular basis with that build (and the Cyclonic helps a lot) and it's probably one of the easiest builds for me on that difficulty (excluding OP classes like TGI or EDI). I don't know about Plat though, as I never play it. But honestly, it works just fine on Gold.Ghostknife72 wrote...

I don't think the "shield recharge" comparison is relevant ; indeed you can do more damage while I take cover but I will hit shield gate less frequently, so... and to be honest, I don't argue with your build being "shield recharge"-focused.
What bothered me more was the low ranks in Warp which I don't understand : no armor debuff, poor damage, high reload time, what's the point ? If it's only to work with Warp ammo, then again the high recharge time will be a pain. And if you're really into recharge time comparison, I will recover my shields fully before you can shoot Warp twice ;p

6/6/6/4/4 Asari Adept with a Talon. What now Boogie? Is that favorable advice?
