I would consider plenty of characters from Mass Effect perfect.

Origins is not his type of game (I think). He believes that doing what feels "morally right" should have the best outcome.

Miranda is actually probably one of the most flawed. In fact, that's the exact reason why Miranda fails to achieve the things other characters do, despite having every other obvious advantage.

That's the reason she falls behind Shepard.

Oh, believe me. I know how he is.

He also believes that characterization comes before practicality and utility for character uniforms.

He has a terrible tendency to mind project his views. Which are also pretty far-fetched and absurd. He is entitled to them, but he loves to whack people over the head with them. He also claims that he has a right to disrespect and insult them since he's standing by his principles.

I'm surprised he hasn't been perma-banned yet.

Nothing, only when people call them perfect. :bandit:

Oh yes. Miranda is dishonest. Intentionally by the writers, I might add.

Also, enough of this "play DA:O" nonsense. This has nothing to do with morality. Just simple logic. Miranda has a flaw, and is weaker because of it. And thus never quite on the level of Shepard and some of the others.

it's an inevitability.

And the epic reverse statement fallacy.

Because I say something, you are inclined to state the opposite. Whether you believe it or not is irrelevant, the simple fact is that you're trying to get a rise out of me.

Not to mention that we're in a thread unrelated to Mass Effect, so, argumentum ad nauseum too.

Really David, this is a Dragon Age thread. You haven't played the game, so you have no ground to stand on when criticizing the story or even talking about the story.

The simple fact is that I rarely post at all unless I'm confronting someone. What exactly is the point of being the 500th person on the thread to nod and smile and say, "Yup, Allers has a bad voice actor" or somesuch stupidly obvious nonsens?

why don't you make a thread with the same title in the ME3 section if you want to talk about it?

So your own opinions cannot stand on merit, you need to tear down someone else's?

That is very true.

But we all know that Alistair, Leliana, Anders, Ohgren, and Dog are perfect. ;)

I was fine with Anders until DA2 happened where he just pissed me off

Even though I spared him in my "canon Hawke" playthrough :bandit::sick:

What?

What if people disagree about what "feels" morally right?  What if someone (correctly) declares that the very idea of moral feelings is absurd?
