I answered it for Miranda because Miranda is flawed. But the others characters really aren't.
A flaw is a serious thing. When people discuss this, the complaints are nearly always just petty or silly. I've always very heavily disliked the idea that flaws make characters interesting.
"For such a smart man, professor, you always had difficulty recognizing data that clashed with your preconceptions. When will you accept that I'm here because I wish to be here?"
Flaw.
"Eh, Genophage, First Contact War, pretty much the same thing, right?"
Flaw.
Not everyone likes it when every character is the embodiment of some archetype or another.
