For those who bought Dragon Age...It seems to me that the Blood Dragon Armor in Mass Effect 2 is not particularly special.

It is just an armor with some small stat boost like evry other armor

I was hoping for something more unique...

It is free armor indeed, but is it UNIQUE?

If I decide to use it for the entire game, do the stats level up as I level up?

Or do I have to throw it away after a few levels

Armor doesn't work like that, Armor effects ability like 10% to bullet time. There are no armor stats.

More unique? It's signed by the entire team of the Edmonton Blood Dragons! Posted Image

And what's worse is that it benefits casters more than soldiers. But I guess they get the Collector's Armor. I'm also hoping that its a good Vanguard armor, or I might just think of making my shep an adept! *shudder*

Hey, as long it's badass-looking and it's useful, I don't complain.

From what I read, it increases power damage by 15% and shield strength by 10%. Not useless at all, I say~

So pre-orderered CE gets you Blood Dragon and Collector's Armor or just Collector's? If you only get Collector's Armor, how do we get Blood Dragon?

I honestly don't really like the look of it. I didn't even really use it in Dragon Age.

I'll probably be sticking with N7 armor.

Blood Dragon is only if you bought Dragon Age I believe, not if you pre ordered ME2.

Only Terminus looks good in it's current form if you ask me.

Inferno needs different colours. Hate that red.

O.o were the hell did you get that I meant pre-order armors lean toward soldiers more.

Here's the breakdown:

Blood Dragon Armor: Code recieved from purchasing a new copy of DA:O in any format (PC, X360, PS3)

Collector's Armor: Recieved from purchasing a Collector's Edition copy of ME2

Terminus Armor: Part of the bonus gear you get when pre ordering from Gamestop

Inferno Armor: Bonus armor recieved when you pre order at a non Gamestop location

All of these bonus or pre order armors are non modable / upgradeable. They're meant as bonus perks for pre ordering the game, they're not necessarily meant to be an "i win" armor set, no matter how sweet they look. ;)

Sorry, I didn't mean to quote you. It was just an unrelated question.

Well living in Australia I didn't know that. Anyway, sorry for the misinformation. Would anyone be able to confirm whether the Blood Dragon Armor comes with the AUS CE or if EB Games simply made an error?

Blood Dragon Armor is a marketing Tie in from Dragon Age Origins.

You cannot get it unless through Dragon Age

It all depends on whether ammo abilities count as "powers" or not.

Having 15% more damage on my ammo based abilities would be awesome, but who knows.

Looking at the armor

* Increases power damage by 15%

* Increases shield strength by 10%

I'm guessing that's added to your natal stats, which would make this more of a tank armor. So for people that will be playing the Vanguard, and Soldier classes, its one of the better ones (( that comes form pre-order))

At least for how I play.
