So is there any way the new consoles will be able to support more than 4 player coop?

I want more mooks and have something similar to that husk mod that was floating around for a while come to consoles. Then ME would have a true 'zombie apocalypse' mode.

We might as well just do a retcon.

-Sigh-
There's lots of potential with continuity, I'm not going to post from my phone though.

I'm sure you're capable and imaginative.  It's lunch time.

They could still use the "Dark Energy" plot that Drew Karpyshyn mentioned.  Then the control end could be used since Shepard is now "aware" of the new threat that as a human he just couldn't comprehend.

To paraphrase, he basically said the Reapers were actually a force for good in the end.  They were trying to stop this Dark Energy from destroying the universe.  Their means were the best.

Is Bukkake a banned word? Wil I have a ban bukkake coming at me from all angles for this post?

Yeah all the reaper dialogue to that point in the series pointed to that also. "Foolish human the Reapers are your salvation, not your destruction." in ME2 etc. The Reapers were an Ark for organics.

one thing I loved about battlefield 3 was the fact that you could play with so many heads and stack up crazy kills. The worst thing about battlefield 3 is that your team could consist of literally 11 azzclowns who couldnt play a shooter for the life of them.

Videogames are fun, but I realize the more people you play with, the more 'annoying" the game can become. Either way, I don't see myself buying ME4 (or any game besides Final Fantasy and Battlefield 4) until I read some impressive reviews. Games have literally turned into half worked public beta testing BS. No one is getting my money until I know its well deserved anymore.

This game was f*ckin rediculous...and to think people think this game is well made...

I think more people think it was fun rather than describing it as "well made". And people are much more willing to overlook flaws when the rest of it is so fun. Hopefully they will have learned a lot from the process and can refine the netcode quite a bit for ME4.

The same reason I can laugh at a cat kicking itself in the face then bitting its own leg. Just because its rediculous doesn't mean its not fun. ME3MP "was" fun, but the constant BS in the game was still a letdown, even after a year of playing it was fustrating to watch a power go through an enemy or constantly smash a button watching meself get shot, and nothing happen. I put the "fun" in the game with things I liked, that doesn't mean I liked the game.

Still, I haven't played in about 2 weeks, and honestly haven't gotten an itch to put ME3 in either. Right now Minecraft, Happy Wars and U.MvC3 have stolen my attention.

I actually really like the 4 man coop. I'd like to see that stay the same and see what awesome new elements bioware can bring to it. I think more people might get kind of crazy and might make it difficult for people at either end of the talent/experience lvl when pugging.

Who the hell doesn't find that funny though? IDK I think ME3MP was far more successful than they thought it would be. Honestly at the point it came out I think it was just a damn add on for them. How long was MP rumored to be in development?

Mid-series writer change does explain spontaneous continuity breaks.

Maybe they could have some parameters that the host sets or perhaps are voted on that determine the squad size.  That way if you wanted to keep it to a 4-person squad you could, or if you wanted to expand it to six or eight or whatever the case, then you could do that too.  Options are good.

I don't think anyone thought it would take off the way it did. It was all but stated as being the reason why support was cut off at exactly one year, dispite a new DLC being released just two weeks previously. Everyone going into it fully expected it to be a barren wasteland after a year and planned accordingly. You to give serious praise to the MP team that took someone everyone assumed was doomed to failure at launch and made it memorable enough that it still has a sizable (albeit shinking) player base, almost a year and half from launch and almost 6 months after they cut all support.

I actually bought ME3 for the MP, the single player was good, but I'm not as big a diehard fan of ME as many on BSN.

I come from alot of JPRPGs so stories are just recycled to me. Biggest draw for ME for me is the whole renegade/paragon different perspectives based on your decisions thing. But ultimately I bought the game to play some MP.

Played the demo, and instead of listening to a freind who's been playing "westerner" Xbox games longer than I have, I assumed they would take care of the issues in the demo and actually bring forth a great experience, and it was, until the "new" shine wore off and I took in the game for what it was.

Great we can have whines about the other 37 scrub player pugs in a group on a daily basis rather than the 3 scrub player pugs.

Larger MP, yes. More players, no.

More players are just going to turn it into some random junk where it's more competitive, no one works together, and it's just a kill fest on a large map.

They should ADD OFFLINE AND AI BOTS this time as well on Next generation, also new game modes and features. They should focuse on Singleplayer first than MP, MP usually dies out after the game is released for awhile. The Singleplayer should be their first prioty. I did enjoy Multiplayer though maybe they'll make it easier and better with different difficulties and features.

Personally I thought the multiplayer turned out amazingly well and would love to see more, rather than less, focus on it for ME4.
