How can I make my own head morph to use for my character as I find the in-game character creator too basic and I want to create a more unique looking character, I assume the toolset enables you to make more complex faces but I can't seem to find where ever you make them.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.

To use the toolset to create a custom morph, go to File>New>Morph. Then select the base, and use the object inspector on the bottom right to edit what you wish.

For an existing save, you can export a MOR and then use the face replacer tool to replace the existing morph with your new one. Alternatively, you can enable an option to export it as a MOP, which you can then add under the appropriate race/sex head section in chargenmorphcfg.xml and it will show up in the character creator when you start a new game (just move the preset slider through the options until you find it).
Note that both the toolset and in-game editors use the same underlying system. The toolset editor does have more fine control, but there are inherent limits to what you can do based on the range of morph target meshes available.

I managed to make it a preset but when I tried to choose it in-game it froze and crashed my game, any ideas on how I could fix it.
I enabled it to be exported as a .mop but it says it's a .mrh, how do I change it.

An MRH is a toolset file, not a game file. You need to export a game ready MOR/MOP. Right click in the morph editor window and choose Post to Local. It depends on which module you have open as to where it will get exported. Ideally you should be using a custom module to lessen the chance of screwing up the main game.

I've got it working now, I needed to post to local to make a .mop, but thanks for the replies.
