I've been playing this for a few hours now, I guess it was buggy prior to the last patch?  

It's free on steam and domestic terrorism is just godamn fun.  You can be a cop or a criminal and the game is a lot like GTA with a slight learning curve.   There's more than enough weapons and vehicles with an immense amount of character custimization and unlockables.  You really do not need to give G1 any money unless you just have to have something, which is the standard design now, it's not pay 2 win and relies heavily on your own skills and teamwork.  The focus is urban warfare and you can use a lot of strategy when engaging an enemy fortification.  

Keeping me busy for a while,


The playerbase is steady and I like it more than defiance, which is a bit bland but fun as well.  I was looking for a new 3rd person shooter and this is holding me over.

I think I remember it having a decent character creator, and I like some of its artwork I stumbled upon. I'll have to look into it and maybe I'll try it if it's free2play (although I'm not really into multiplayer).

Now that my PC is up to snuff, I will try it out.

I played it when it first came out. I found it dull, repetitive, and difficult to get anywhere or do anything because the PvP aspect is forced into every mission. Haven't played the Reloaded version, but I also don't feel any great desire to.

There doesn't seem to be any mod's in APB at the moment either, it's like a godamn free for all.

I booted it up. It's not very new player friendly.

However, once I got my bearings, I had a blast. My fellow cop buddies and I went around righting wrongs and such. It was fun.
