Am i only one here amused by the fact that Joker and our new ships AI = Tricia Helfer will argue about Joker piloting skills and where we are to land a ship?   :blink:

Another question is just how far advanced is the AI? Does it have a sense of humor, or will it remain unamused by Joker's humor?



And if it learns, will it pick up any behavior similar to Joker? Can you imagine having Joker AND an AI saying how great they are and how a ship isn't supposed to be that close to a super nova, since it like, fries its sensors?

Jeah if you have watched the "stars" intro youll see that when Tricia says I am the Normandy I trust him to keep me operational he trust me to keep him alive, jeah that was said with such a tension:-) so i think she will understand humor, but will shoot down Joker comments ,-)

I wonder if she takes some of Joker's snide comments well. Something that is said with an underlaying insult in there when Joker acts like he is just having a simple conversation with Shepard about the ship's operations, criticising it in some way or mocking it.

Is Tricia a VI or an AI? Also what does being an AI entail in the Mass Effect Universe? I mean are they simply self-aware and capable of learning, or do they have emotions and feelings?

I really hope she (the Normandy) has some sort of character! Loved this in the Andromeda series (and hated most of the rest, especially the ridiculous "story")

Would be great if she was first loyal to cerberus and we could turn her to be fully ours... just hoping!

I doubt EDI is Reaper tech. AI isn't new.

Being designed by Cerberus, I expect EDI to be more advanced than an AI made by some random wannabe thief.

I seem to remember that AI being a freak consequence?

AI existence/research was also forbidden by the council after the Geth revolt.

Perhaps EDI is Reaper tech?

It is stated on Noveria, that most of the 4 coroperations that have a licence from the council to research AI are situated there. (when talking to Anoleis his secretary and asking about the corperations)

And seeing how Ceberus seems to be involved in everything, they have to be involved in AI research, possible in all 4 corperations either to develop it for themselfs or to steal the technology.
