There were several moments in both games where I was either shocked, or in awe of how "deep" some of these moments could get.

- Leaving your parents if you play the Cousland story.
- In the Fade where you have the choice to either save the possessed man, or let him be happy and ignorant because he is possessed by a demon. (I seriously had a hard time with this).
- Giving Morrigan the mirror - I loved her character development and seeing her walls begin to slowly fall bit by bit, that and when she refuses to sleep with you because she knows she's in love with you.
- When you had the choice to kill Loghain or not. The first time I did, but lost Alistair because he was being a little whiny baby, so I had to go back to a save and kill Loghain because I didn't want to lose him. lol
- Morrigan's story in general actually. I find it to be one of the more tragic Bioware romances. The fact that she is on this mission of betrayal to only fall in love with the Warden, and have to do it anyways for (I hope) the better of everyone. Wouldn't it be ironic that the person that everyone thought was only out for themselves ended up being the savior of all of Thedas.

- Right off the bat when one of your siblings die.
-Apparently Flemeth has the ability to become "hotter" every time she dies. lol
- Okay, Frankenmom.... this is the first RPG that has made me uncomfortable and disgusted - BUT that's what I loved about this scene. It was very emotional, and if it affected me that much- good job Bioware!
- Anders blew up the darn Chantry... like...really?! I know people love him, but I despise his character. lol
- When Hawke fights the Quanri for Isabela - epic and cute at the same time.
