Reegar. How's a come other peeps don't do this? Cloak->Shadowstrike->Reegar.

You can't do 2 SSs in one TC cycle.

Shadowstrike is a crap power anyway, who cares about doing it twice?  Also you're saying you can't Cloak->Shadowstrike->Shadowstrike->Reegar?

The one thing I don't like about the Reegar is how it slows your character down when you shoot, and the Shadow's survivabilty is all about using her speed and flips.

Also, you really can;t fit in two Shadow Strikes with the Reegar+Omniblade because the animation for Shadow takes up a lot of time out of cloak.

I like the Wraith because it is the strongest light shotgun in which I can fit two Shadow Strikes under one TC cycle. The reason it is better than the Piranha in this case is because you can use the weight mod glitch so that the omniblade weight becomes inconsequential.

I also use the Responder loadout because the extra medigels allow me to be more aggressive than usual without having to worry about BS death or rage-gelling.

This reminds me: I've never tried the Bonus power evolution of TC on the Shadow... Is it worth skipping electric slash altogether? I'm not using ES that much so it could be a good idea...

I generally use Disruptor ammo on the Shadow, and ES is great at setting off Tech Bursts...

ES is a good power, despite what some people say.  I usually do only 5 ranks in the Passive tree and put 3 ranks into ES.  It does come in handy for setting off Tech Bursts, and it's useful for doing damage in Hack circles when a lot of enemies approach from concealed angles and for softening up groups of enemies before poking your head out to shoot them.

I always use Bonus Power on the Shadow.  It lets you SS literally any enemy you want (even in a crowd), while still having the opportunity to take cover before you break cloak.  It also lets you SS twice in a cloak cycle, which can be useful in some circumstances.  EDIT:  ... especially for Phantoms.  If you get a Phantom with 2 Dragoons, you just SS the first Dragoon, do a couple of flips, SS the Phantom, and then take the other Dragoon's head off with your shotgun and/or sword.

Acolyte/Hurricane.

Acolyte with melee stunner and power amp mods. + melee, +ss/es power.
Charge, cloak, release, SS. 1hit KO plat phantom every time. Charge, fire, walk up, heavy melee decapitation. Great stuff.

Hurricane with heatsink and power amp mods (ap ammo).
Hurricane, because... hurricane. This is your boss killer.

Scimitar X with Blade attachment V. Never fire a shot, just shadow strike/melee everything and use electric slash as a distance attack.

Wraith is a good all around choice. Nothing says F you like a close range Raider shot though.

Personally running her as a mobile sniper right now though. Only SS to repositon and use BW.

I know some people always defend Shadow Sniper build... but let`s always consider that she is possibly the single worst Infiltrator for sniping.

Erm.... No

The AIU is by far the worst Sniper Infiltrator as she has no ranged attack and no ranged stun/stagger power.  She's a hyper CQC character making her useless for sniping.

I always go sniper on the shadow these days.  Valiant with Extended barrel and a stun ammo like Disruptor or Cryo. (Give me a break, I'm only an average sniper so I need some help from stun)  I've tried with the BW but I find it just too heavy to allow for enough SS.  The Incisor would be excellent but it has too much recoil for the Shadow - best used on a Turian.

For shotty I would probably go with the Pirhana to keep the weight down, or you could go reegar for the full fat cheese.

I disagree.
Using SR is not always about fighting long range. AIU`s superior durability (especially during scoping) & certain synergy with SR & Snap freeze can make her excellent Sniper who covers both close & long range with one SR.

Shadow`s power has absolutely nothing to do with sniping... except of course tactical cloak.
Even if AIU has no 25% SR cloak bonus, I will still consider her to be a better sniper than Shadow.

I'm playing a sniper Shadow now, really sub-optimal but fun to me.

You forgot to mention RM and the Javelin give you the advantage of free wall hax on the AIU.

Talon with a head shot mod and melee stunner. Great for low level enemy, not so great for bosses. Still, it works for me.

Wraith because I want a long range weapon, when SSing isn't a good option, with melee mod available. I don't play Shadow a lot though and haven't done for a while. It's a fun and unique class to solo with though, I might have to pull it out for some pugging.

I personally feel that ES only needs 4 points at most, my build is 6/4/6/4/6 maxed for melee damage. http://kalence.drupa...5!!..R563!04959

With the Shield Drain evolution of SS and Bonus power evolution from Tac Cloak, I can SS into any group of enemies I want while still being able to escape unharmed or I can take out 2 enemies at a time with my 200% recharge speed, while still refilling my shields whenever I need it. Last gold game I played I only went down once with a pure melee build. Abuse of Tac Cloak and SS means I can safely take out enemies as quickly as possible.

Also try to focus on the smaller enemies that you can one-shot before engaging the bigger enemies that are harder to kill. Your teammates should be able to fend off the bigger guys while you SS all the mooks, basically "scratch my back, and I'll scratch your's" Once all the little guys are gone, cloak followed by a heavy melee to a big enemy (atlas, brute etc) will do massive damage to their armor. Use ES to damage shields/barriers.

Also don't forget to abuse the **** out of tac cloak.

The Scimi is not the most effective weapon, but really fun to use on the Shadow (and a melee Cabal). I really like that weapon.

Claymore. I use shadow strike situationally, so I don't use melee mods on it either. Electric slash for fire explosions, and use it (along with SS) for reload hiding.

You used this in our last game I think, seemed very effective Image IPB.

I’ve been playing around with a sniper build, put the CSR on her and I’ve been having a lot of fun. Not optimal but none the less enjoyable

Raider, or claymore or wraith.
Played on my friends account a bit and found that taking full damage evos on cloak is amazing on shadow strike.

I used to put on the Black Widow, but that also had great dis advantage on small maps.

Now I always gear up the Geth Scanner and use a shotgun, that combo is ultra superior. The Shotgun I use is the Raider, Wraith or Claymore. Raider and Claymore benefit from SS.

:)  I shelved her for quite a while because I got bored of the slow pace of shadow striking everything in sight, and had to do something different.

Lately I have been loving the Crusader on her. No need for a smart choke so there is practically no sacrifice for the Omniblade plus it wrecks bosses who you don't want to SS. Almost like having a sniper omniblade... almost.
