Description:

The Turian Millitary has a special program where they take some of the worst criminals and transform them into soldiers.

These criminals are not just from the Turian race, but from other races too, including, Asari, Humans and Salarians.

The program had been running for twenty years when the Reapers started invading. To date this program has produced some of the most fearless blood thirsty soldiers in the galaxy. The same criminals who once killed innocents without hesitation are now re-directing their talents to taking down hostiles.

These Ex-Convicts are some of the most deadly soldiers around.

Description: The Ex-Convict Soldier is a powerful force on the battlefield, who is capable in specialising in any fire arm. These Soldiers used to be gangsters, street thugs and serial killers, until they were brought to Palaven's Ex-Convict Millitary Program.

Rank 1: Weapon Damage + 10%. Weapon Stability + 10%
Rank 2: Weapon Stability Bonus + 15%
Rank 3: Weapon Damage + 5%

Rank 4a: Weapon Damage + 20%
Rank 4b: Weapon Rate of Fire + 10%

Rank 5a: Shield Buster:  Shield Damage + 10%, Shield Gate Ignored 50%, Headshot Damage + 30%
Rank 5b: Armor Buster: Armor Damage + 10%, Armor Piercing 50%, Headshot Damage + 30%

Rank 6a: Unlock Carnage: Send forth a projectile that delivers heavy damage to armor and health , but minor damage to shields/barriers. 900 damage versus armor and health. 500 damage versus shields/barriers. 20 seconds base cooldown.

Rank 6b:
 Unlock Tech Mines. Tech mines deliver 900 points of damage uniformly against all enemy types and all protection types over radius of  2 metres. Using these uses up grenades.

Description: The Kurassi are residents on Palaven. These people have had little to no education and live in some of the poorest areas of Palaven where they have to endure racism, extreme poverty and ultimately have to comit crime to survive.

The Kurassi were the first race to have Ex-Convicts accepted in the Turian Millitary. They have become an inspiration to their fellow Kurassi and have challenged stereotypes regarding their peoples by defending Palaven against the Reapers. It is popular opinion that the Kurassi are the only reason why Palaven hasn't been conquered.

Rank 6b: Unlock Cryo Grenades. Cover an are of 2 metres with freezing particles that will deal a lot of damage and make foes take 15% more damage from all sources. Foes down to health will be instantly killed. Uses up grenades.
