You know, it's funny how people consider themselves so unique. You'd think you'd see a vast array of mental states and problems and whatnot. But no. All I see are the same old tired delusions.

How many times have I been through this? None of you would have devoted the countless hours you've spent to this forum if you actually believed any of this contrived nonsense.

People do very foolish things in a desperate attempt for power, don't they? You're upset with ME 3 and BioWare, so you conjure this little fantasy in an attempt to convince yourself. Say it enough times and it might become true, right?

You do know that the comics weren't that good even before ME3, right?

That clearly works, seeing as how you think Lazarus is a good plot point.

Arcian listed a number of them. But there are plenty of videogames, both new and old, far better written than any of the Mass Effect games.

Most of those are either old games whose plots are extraordianarily simple or...they aren't actually that good.

None of the games out there are perfect, and this fantasy world BSN lives in where everyone is a literary master and a genius of narrative talent and believes that Bioware's abilities are that of a three yeard old show that same level of maturity and ability as the monster they claim to slay. :wizard:

Such nonsense. Have I ever once made a thread about Lazarus? No. And you can check. No, I only defend it when the issue arises. Clearly, I feel no need to shout from the rooftops about Lazarus. Unlike you.

I haven't read any of them (save the bundled LE edition one) but my point is the general level of negiativity here.

Bioware may have dropped the ball with ME3s ending but to acuse them of writing like Michael Bay not only is a disservice to the writers but yourselves...afterall you are here in the first place.

Thats Walters for you...It seems hes gone to the Michael Bay school of plots, unfortunately. Making sense is secondary to huge explosions, big battles and sexy women. And Cerberus.

You know I am the first to admit the flaws of both Bioware and Mass Effect but wether you want to admit it or not they still right better stories than 99% of the games out there.

Really now?

The Dig, Grim Fandango, Half-Life 1 & 2, Silent Hill 2, The Longest Journey & Dreamfall, Gabriel Knight 1 & 2 and 3, Telltale's The Walking Dead, Chrono Trigger, Fallout 1 & 2, Tactics and New Vegas, BioShock Infinite, The Last of Us, To The Moon, Deus Ex, Planescape: Torment, Braid, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, GTA: San Andreas, Red Dead Redemption, Portal 1 & 2, Starcraft 1 & Brood War, System Shock 2, Bastion...

I could go on, but I have stuff to do.

Half Life -boring plot, boring characters (Subjective)
Walking Dead - retelling a story of something else (although it does that VERY well) (Still better storytelling than Bioware)
GTA - Are you serious? No one cares about GTA stories. (GTA: San Andreas still has a good story to it)
Starcraft - Don't even get me started with the massive plot holes in that game.

And my point is that games that come out currently. Yes, bioware still does good storytelling.

How could you leave out Uncharted? You should just say Naughty Dog and 2k games in the future.

My answers are the bolded ones

I can't just say your opinion is subjective as well?

GTA has been the same plot 5 games in a row. You're a bad guy go do bad stuff.B) (fun premise though)

Because it isn't the cold hard truth.

You're using masive hyperbole...and then think that is how it actually is. As I said they did drop the ball but not as bad as you guys make it out to be.

ME series was going down the drain since the second book, so don't five me that "Bioware dropped the ball with ME3 ending." That is complete nonsense.

I never read the books, I only observe what Bioware does itself.

It is nonsense to attribute the writing of a single author to what the games did.

You're missing like 20 other plots points, and the way the first one is told is good.

No, terminator baby sucked and I will agree 100% on that.:P

And there's also the older Bioware games that are written better than the current ones and I actually am hoping that DA:I has better writing, but that hope isn't that big

Well then we are arguing over nothing, yes their writing as of late has left more than a few wanting but I'd still put it as better than 90% (so I don't anger the literary masters here) of the stuff out there and they do deliver on presentation(ending aside).

I wish this place would stop being so negative it starts to believe the hyperbole it uses. <_<

Look at this utterly petty whining. Does this make you feel powerful, House? Do you feel like you're hurting BioWare?

Does this make you feel like you have power over BioWare?

And you, Seboist? Do you feel powerful?
