I don't think I would care about race, so long as there's a good story. But honestly, at this point, I have trouble putting much stock into anything Mass Effect related. There's no tension when you know the DM can change the rules at any time for any reason.

i would really like to play as a collector again but if i cant oh well the only thing i want dont is a chosen character like garrus i don't want 2 play as garrus or tali or any1 else i want my own character but considering the terrible downgrade of rpg elements on me3 i don't think i will have my own character.

In Dragon Age, I like playing the elf and dwarf and stuff with human as a sidethought. In Mass Effect it would be neat playing as other races, but I think human is where I belong in that series.

Players won't gravitate to nonhumans.
The idea that the main protagonist could be some hoidover character from the previous ME that is nonhuman just won't work. Neither would it work that the main race could be nonhuman Or that the game could be a prequel.Any of that will make ME4 a dismal failure and mark the end of the ME franchise.
