What is so "special" about Shepard's "abilities"? Note also in ME2, during Kelly-Shep conversation after destroying/purging Collector base you can see "the Kelly's flashes" and they are apparently the same as the "Thane's flashes". And in that perspective how all these "the Kelly-Thane's flashes" are related to "the beacons' flashes"
It seems to me that Shepard is "nothing" than "a toy" in the others hands (Cerberus, Bioware, etc.), **but NOT in the "hands" of a player who "behind" Shepard!** Sorry, Bioware
**That** is why I did not buy yet ME3 and I'm not sorry here! And **that** is why I did not like ME 2
