I think he'd have something of a point if he wasn't talking about Smash Bros.

All you get out of watching the cutscenes online is the story which is not really a good thing to have on YouTube if your game is really heavily story based. Only thing is that people aren't buying SSB because they want story.

They're buying it because they want to smack Peach around while playing as Mario for getting kidnapped every other week.

I know I don't. Brawl's story mode was kinda meh tbh, and that was where all the cutscenes were. Minus the opening of course. But yeah, this is a big deal why?

Are you really surprised they tried tearing down lets plays of its games not seeing it as good marketing for them. The same happens in the Anime scean as well in terms of fan subs for unlicensced series. The Japanese as of late are getting more clingy with anything out of the country.

I think they've become more lenient in terms of Let's Plays of Nintendo games since due to the big backlash that came from it, (there are a LOT of Ninty LPers) but don't quote me on that.

I think they still take all advertising money for everthing other than reviews by big companys

Oh they allow the lets plays now, the backlash stepped on there toes. Which honestly I don't see the big deal from lets plays and CGI cutsceans showing up online. I mean unless the game is ****, then yeah, thank you Lpers, for spending money so I don't have to.

All I know is that I hope he'll compensate by bringing in more characters - The sad factor of the game being on a handheld as well as a console is discouraging enough - Especially because they are not developed seperately and then there are statements like this ""The reality of the situation unfortunately is that there are certain limitations on the 3DS," Sakurai said. It's not exactly promising to hear how the 3DS is holding the console version back, which could mean less amount of characters.
