Same here, I enjoy following around flamer spammer's with my novaguard and killing everything they start attacking. Usually makes em quit pretty fast.

Your surprised people ragequit because of that? I can't even count how many times somebody has gotten mad at me as a novaguard for stealing their kills lol. They don't care about the FE's helping the team, all they see is "Andr0idOS Biotic Charge Marauder" and an assist pop up on their screen and they start raging.

Oh god. The POWWWWER! I would never play anyone else but novaguard if he had AF. That would be insanely OP but so much fun sploding everything I charge/nova at.

Its not that they have to kill everything per say, they just cannot stop doing the Charge/Nova combo bc if they do they will probably die. It is the 'charge to survive' mentality. 

I love Novaguards.

This. Not charging constantly as a novaguard is practically suicide. As long as your smart with your BC's you shouldn't ever get yourself insta-killed.

People need to understand that the Novaguard is like a willing S&M slave... He is there to take pain and do your bidding. Play a class with a tech or biotic area primer, enslave him as your detonator and you both will get off in the end : )

@ OP: yeah you'll get some of the kills for charging, but odds are they'll get more from the FEs (on gold or plat anyways). Regardless anyone who cares about kill stealing in this game should be thrown out the nearest airlock.

Just met a novaguard in pug. Gets Scanner I and Predator I. Strength Enhancer 2. It baffles me how he still has a Predator I at N7 200....

He wasn't too bad. Managed to stay alive for the first couple of rounds. Then it into a carryfest.

Noooo, he was much more decent than I thought. I'm not sure if I can do better as a offhost novaguard.

Yeah, that's a very good point guess I wasn't really thinking when I made those posts. (That's why I should NOT get up at 7am!) But still, if you follow one guy around and attack anything he attacks, it tends to ****** off the PUG's pretty quickly.

I think most people that play this game are stuck in a Halo/CoD mentality, because in those games pretty much everyone plays as a lonewolf instead of working together as a team to take out enemies, and even though you still sound like a whiny little b****, getting mad at people for taking your kills is at least somewhat  justified. I know I had that problem when I first started playing ME MP, I got annoyed at people stealing my kills because I played bronze/silver so everyone just did their own thing. (Once I moved up to gold I realized it's a team  game not a lonewolf kill-fest, and that working together to kill stuff was the best way to win.)

Really? I think the vanguard/soldier's look the best out of the basic humans. I personally find the engineer/infiltrator to be horribly ugly.

I like playing with competent players. Especially if they dont complain when I outscore them.

Hate playing with them, mainly coz the sound of them constantly spamming Nova gets annoying v quickly. I wouldn't quit a match if one came in, just prefer not.

Also with regard to the Halo/CD mentality someone mentioned - unfortunately, BW killed that when the Challenge system was introduced. How many of those relate to co-operation?

You cannot force PUG's to play as a cohesive unit, only a group of friends mic'd up could do that so have to accept that if that's mainly what you play.

Is the question do I personally like playing as the novaguard or do I like it if someone in the lobby is playing with it? Well, actually answer is NO in both circumstances, The "constant BOOM + WHAA HAAAA!" is really annoying.

editi: Doesn't mean I try to kick or leave the lobby, I actually don't encounter them very much.

Good novaguards are sort of rarity. But even an average novaguard in a team with decent BE/FE primers equals super-fast gold matches. They are hands down the best detonators IMO. So no, I don't mind a novaguard - I switch to a character that can prime easily (drell adept/asari justicar/falcon kits etc) to make the game easier. But on the other hand, there are bad novaguards who are not all that helpful. Either way, I dont kick or leave a lobby just because there's a novaguard. I will play with a N7 120 novaguard on gold too - I don't care.

 Well at least not everyone hates playing with my beloved nova guard. The sounds he makes seem almost unanimously hated though, I actually I kind of like them. (Probably cause I'm so used to it)
Never gets old charging around killing everything. (Smartly of course...)
