I think the difference is the amount of 'skill' it takes to play each class.
AIU has all the retarded bonuses, making it the perfect 'gimp' class or 'e-z-mode class'.
GI has basically little shields, little health, but can kill almost everything in 6-7 shots (Going based off using GI/Black Widow X with Heavy Barrel and Phasic 3 rounds - but no sniper amps and based upon hitting Atlas').

AIU in the end is a better 'skill boosting class' (If it can even be called that) - while the GI takes at least some skill and common sense to use, not: "HURRR DURR. RUN INTO ENEMIES AND NOT WORRY ABOUT A THING."

... At least, that's my view point.

I think it will be very close match between 2 best players using AIU & GI.

Also.. about TC balance...
TC does not need generic damage bonus. Period. Its stealth function alone makes it more than useful.
I would accept those Rank 6 damage bonus but nothing else.

Actually, of the 4 factions, EDI is probably the worst against Geth. RM does not protect her from stunlock. I prefer to use the Huntress vs. Geth.

Good GI usually doesn`t die even with 0 fitness...
Actually all good GIs should have 0 fitness..

If your confidence is based on RM auto-revive you are doing this wrong, buddy.

The AIU and GI are different play styles. One encourages a more aggressive play style and the other one requires more thought. I've seen both classes played by many people that fail to utilize them to their full potential. So in the end it's player skill and play style preference that dictates which one is better.
