Yeah, I can imagine that the idea of being expected to provide proof once you make a declaration is very difficult for you.

At any rate, Synthesis gives the Lazarus project a run for its money as far as space magic stupidity...

When it explicitly contradicts known physiological science without explanation? Yup. Coming up with new tech to solve problems is fine, until it directly clashes with what we know.

It's fine to acknowledge the leap in logic and dig it anyway; that's the case with the Prothean cipher, too, among other things. Your position supporting it as suitable writing, however, leaves a lot to be desired.

What 'known physiological science' does Lazarus contradict again? Please give me something more substantial than this little litany of "It's a brain, it can't be touched."

Have you not been reading this discussion? This has been brought up to you many, many times already.

Shepard's brain cells die. Okay. So what? Prove that function can't be restored to them. Prove that the memories are beyond salvaging.

Here's hoping whoever wrote the Lazarus bit in ME2 comes into this thread and facepalms. I doubt even they believe it. It's ****ing science fiction, people.

.  That is just basic science.  Look it up if you need to.

Did you even read the links.  The proof was in them.

I even copy/pasted teh relevant passage of one of them in my fracking post!

I'm starting to think this is all an act, you actually belive me, but are playing to make me look better or something.

No, clumsy nonsense has been brought up many, many times. Repeating something doesn't make it legitimate. What proof or evidence or reasoning do you have that Cerberus could not restore function to Shepard's dead brain cells?

'That is just basic science'

Real compelling evidence right there. Is that the best we can do?

.  Why do people without oxygen die?  Its because their brain experiences massive damage from the absence of oxygen to power cellular respiration.

You need to prove that cells are permanently beyond function or replication once they die. And give me a basis as to why.

Science fiction

I never emphasized the science part myself. It's just fiction. With more lasers and tentacles.

There's a reason why Fiction and Science fiction are two separate things

How exactly is this the slightest bit relevant?

I chalk that more up to varying writing teams not getting their **** together. I mean, I'm often going to look for an outside-the-game reason why things get screwed up. I'll do the same for the ME3 ending, when I criticize it.

When a neuron is deprived of oxygen it breaks down, along with memories encoded into it.

You're outright trying to be thick now. There's no way you can try to make an argument here based on real science, not that of a video game.

So how about you prove your own claim. We'll wait.
