Gosh, what a totally non-biased way to put it. BioWare 'decides' what content 'should be missing' on day one. I like the very stupid implication that anyone who purchases the game is 'owed' whatever content comes on DLC but had it stolen away from them by greedy executives.

Who else but bioware decides what should be sold seperately and what should be included in the game?

The fact that BioWare controls DLC is not the issue. The issue is the implication you made that BioWare somehow has 'complete' games at launch but decides to tear chunks off and 'resell' them as DLC for no motive aside from greed.

The fact that Bioware controls DLC is in fact the issue! That is why it makes no sense to blame EA if you don't like what they are doing with the DLC.

Bioware still have autonomi under EA. Or rather the creative director(s) at Bioware still have autonomi over their own game. It is kinda like Pixar under Disney I reckon. Bioware is making the decisions for their own games. They - or rather Laidlaw (I think he is the one in charge for the Dragon Age team) decide what content should be missing day 1.

To disregard that there is still anything called Bioware, and saying that Bioware might as well just be named EA would be a false simplification.

Blaming EA instead of Bioware is like blaming Warner Brothers instead of Cristopher Nolan because you didn't like The Dark Knight Rises. It's pretty weird to be honest.

So blame Mark Darrah, Mike Laidlaw, Aaron Flynn and probably one or two more individuals who we don't see or hear from as much.

Guess what? They are all EA employees within the Bioware division. So you are blaming EA.

Whether such blame is valid is a whole different conversation.

I can't be bothered to participate in your strawmen fighting. I have not said Bioware owes me anything or called them greedy executives or what else your imagination can come up with. At least not yet. ;)

Yeah. But I have often met people that blame EA and NOT Bioware, because they didn't like some Bioware game or what they did with DLC, and stuff like that. That is what I don't understand. Blame the ones that made the decisions.

Blame "The Decider". :)

You have a point there...

Understand that everyone has a rl to take care of, besides a job there is also family and such, but a forum is created to interact between fans and devs (meaning ppl involved in the development who are 'assigned' to participate on the subjects that are presented) which I do not see happening for some time on this forum..
