I don't care what the first line is, as long as have more choices and more of an RPG element then it'll be a good game.

Imagine if sometime in the game, like mid-game, you see a statue of Shepard to recognize everything that he did? God, that would be so epic.

According to what I read about next ME: Shepard survived, everyone is happy, he and Tali build his home, have kids and etc... (All this without any words of course)
One morning, he sees a commercial of Next Mass Effect. Next minute he writes a letter for family, friends, takes his gun, says:"I didn't fight for this sh*t" and shoots himself in the head.
