If Mass Effect 4 will be a sequel, what kind of sequel do you prefer?

Don't even want the trilogy choice factored in

If it's a sequel, I'm fine with all things new. Maybe some easter egg collectibles for past characters would be neat. Though, I wouldn't mind a matriarch Liara in some brief way.

I voted for new story with cameos.

I think its best to set it several centuries out from the events of ME3 so that the galaxy has had more than enough time to rebuild, and there is a convenient excuse for both High EMS Destroy Shepard not returning and the events of the Shepard trilogy not overshadowing the plot of the new game.

I'd limit the cameos to Warlord Grunt, Matriarch Liara, and EDI if you chose Control or Synthesis.

New with cameos for me too. It would surely take several decades at least to rebuild everything, but not too far ahead. About 150-200 years should be about right. How would they rebuild the relays though? Would they rebuild all of them or would some be better left alone, like the one near the Leviathans?

A lot of them would most likely still be dormant. According to the codex by the events of Mass Effect 3 the civilizations of the galaxy had only managed to explore about 1% of the Milky Way, and most relays were still not activated and linked to unexplored regions of space.

I liked the way Borderlands 2 did it. The original player characters being the key motivators for the new story worked really well I felt. Bioware won't do that of course because it would be prohibitively expensive as they used different VAs for all the characters, but some reference to the past would be good.

I want one in the future, far enough out to have cameos and maybe major npcs roles played by old crew npcs who can live long enough and for the new hero tobe an anti hero, A criminal mastermaind, maybe not have all there marbels. Something like this http://social.biowar...11/143#17053222
