Race options for the player character.

They're bringing race options back for DA:I.  I'll be following it again.

Yes, it seems plans have changed quite a bit. There may be hope just yet.

This was of great interest to me as well. Since they're doing this, I'm hoping they consider bringing back modding to the table. Origins benefitted a lot from it.

TBH no one was making mods for Origins the way people were for NWN. With Inquisition being developed under the Frostbite engine it seems even more unlikely that there will be a toolset. All those cosmetic mods can be created regardless.

Origins has a complete toolset and there's only a few campaign mods out. With NWN there are thousands with people still developing some even for the first NWN game which is why it continues to live on 11 years down the line. I wish I could be saying the same for Origins. Sure it'll live on and all that but for a rather recent game (well relatively speaking) with a full toolset it should have many mods in development right now as we speak.

I would prefer to have them than not have them, anyway. Mods can do a lot of stuff, such as bringing back cut content that was left unused. Origins had that, plus a lot of other mods that greatly enhanced immersion, such as Improved Atmosphere for example. Who knows what will happen with it, but I'd hope they can get the necessary permissions, to develop a tool kit for the frostbite engine.

Well, where did these thousands of people go to? Because it seems that nwvault and nexus are ghost towns.

A toolset for DA:I isn't gonna happen. PC users can always enable the developer console which is fine by me.

BTW I never said "thousands of people" I said there are "thousands of campaign mods".

I thought that wasn't off the table just yet.
