*posting this here because I haven't bought the game yet, and the Gameplay section allows spoilers*
I recently bought DA:O and I've been extremely frustrated with needing to constantly hold down a button to move the camera around with the mouse, to the point I almost don't want to go on playing the game.
Has that ghastly "feature" been fixed in DA2 or is it more of the same?
what's DA2 gameplay like?

How is that any different from any PC game with a mouse look feature? I don't remember any games where you don't have to hold the right mouse button to look around.
I bought the ps3 version of DA2 when it came out but I haven't played it much. I haven't beaten DA:O yet so I didn't want to start the sequel until I finished it.

Not sure what "games" YOU have been playing, but I got tons of games on my pc and not a single one forces you to hold any button down to move the camera around with the mouse. Left 4 Dead series, Mass Effect series, Witcher series, Metro series, Crysis series, Hunted: The Demon's Forge.......need I go on?

^The DA series is neither a shooter nor much action-oriented. Mouselook is hence not necessary. If you didn't like it, you probably wouldn't like DA2 either.

Yes, you have to hold down right-click to move the mouse still, just the way the camera scheme works. There are also key bindings for moving the camera left and right, I mapped mine to "Q" and "E" respectively. Most of the time I just maneuver around with the 6 movement keys (wasd +qe) and only use the mouse to adjust the altitude of the camera.
