Some people are content to remain at an N7 of 120. They're happy with that. And that's fine, I'm a tolerant person and I have nothing against those people. It's just that we're tired of constantly dominating people with low N7s and having to keep booting them from our lobbies. It's very intimidating for most people to enter a lobby where the combined N7 is well in excess of 90k. We're very selective, and rightfully so. We earned that right. We're not telling people how to play the game, or what they should be doing. We simply don't want to associate with them. The icing on the cake is when we get kicked out of low N7 lobbies, they're doing us a favour, because the outcome is the same: we won't be playing with them.

N120 is a special number : it means you never promoted BECAUSE YOU DON'T CARE. It doesn't mean you cannot.
If you wish to compare something, why not challenge points ? Or more : hour played. THERE, you have some intel. But N7 doesn't mean anything. Never has, never will, always trolls saying it does, though.
