What's your favorite character with powers that offer damage resistance (DR)?

Concerning the powers, do you prefer ranks that offer maximum protection, or do you take the more risky route and go for the performance-enhancing offensive ranks?

It's sad that the Volus' Biotic Orbs are stronger. I wonder...would it have been OP if the Collector's Swarms had a paralyzing effect on unshielded mooks? It'd certainly make them unique/useful.

I guess so, it's hard to score lower than 200k with the CA regardless of the setup, but it's quite some work for a Volus with far superior Biotic Orbs.
The thing that really gets me is the casting animation of SS tho.

There generally isn't much to choose from on DR powers, most offensive evos don't compete for defensive options sans siege pulse rank 6 off the top of my head.

GT is the most versatile but krentinel is more fun. Backhanding mooks to orbit never gets old.

I've been finding more protection better than less, so have my team-mates.
So I dunno, I love tech armor, nothing seems to work for me as well, also.

Not only does the justicar have the bubble, but she also has stackable Reave, making her one of the tankiest adepts.
