I don't kill Zevran.
He's funny.
I hope we have a way to just reject potential party members so they don't join.
Some players enjoy killing party members, so they would do it anyway.
I did kill Anders in DA2, but he blew up the chantry without hawke's permission.

Zevran is ridiculously awesome and hilarious. Isabella felt like a tame re-skin of him in woman form if you ask me.

However unless I'm playing a very merciful Warden he always dies. I have eight playthroughs of Origins and he only survived in two.

I mean he tries to murder you. If Origins was Dragon Age 2 he would be forced upon you afterwards no matter what.

Except TES also protects quest-relavent npcs.

That's a new development with Oblivion, if I remember correctly. :wizard:

Anders and Fenris are on my "Kill on Sight" list. There I was trying to get into Merrill's robes -Isabela was a thieving tramp- and I have to listen to a whiny terrorist and a brooding anime reject. I couldn't stand those sons of benches.

Fenris thankfully brooded quietly most of the time. Anders was the real annoyance. Worst terrorist ever.

I definitely want the ability to kill off characters as I already want to get rid of Cassandra.

Worst terrorist, or best terrorist?

I mean, he at least succeded in his goals even if he was a whiny **** about it. He's annoying enough you never want to follow up with him, so he has practically no scrutiny. Perfect cover.

Desirably you would be able to expel companions from your party at any time.

If you wanted to kill or betray a companion this should occur at plot relevant moments like Fenris with his master or Leliana at the Sacred Ashes. It would be nice to have more opportunities to do this, possible examples of this would be Anders in the Chantry with the Templars or Merrill at the confrontation with her clan.

Letting players murderknife their companion at will just seems to be indulging some rather childish impulses.
