Very nice Smooth! Glad to see these plat speed runs done on the PS3. Watching the vid raised a few questions in my mind:

-- Notice you picked damage over reach on Flamer, 4th rank. Thought reach was the consensus approach but will have to try this.

-- Finally proof of 'running' with the pizza on PS3. Wonder how much time it saves (whether it's worth trying to perfect)?

-- Also evidence that hacking the hack circle (!) works on PS3. Wonder if the timing is critical -- i.e., jump out too late and you've got to be there to complete the hack? Also wonder if this works on teams -- if I start the hack and jump out, does it count me as in if others join?

I was impressed by how up-close-and-personal you get with Banshees -- if it had been me getting that close I would have been sync-killed every wave! (Maybe a reason to keep flamer rank 4 at reach!)

Reach on Flamer - I must have selected the wrong option in Narida as this build does use Reach on Flamer.. I never lolTrooper without it.

Pizza running on console - on some kits it is only worth it if you do have it perfected. meaning the time cut from "jogging" with the pizza is so minimal due to slow acceleration of some kits that  a few mistakes could cost you the time you would have had just walking backwards. But, if you can perfect the tactic through practice, it goes without saying it is worth learning.

*hacking the hack - just make sure you are standing in the hack  circle (anywhere within range of the button) when you press the button, and exit by any means as soon as you activate the hack.

You get a pretty good feel for how much damage you need to stop a banshee after a few solos. The Banshee's damage threshold before changing phases is actually less during a solo than in a duo, trio or four-person game. With my build, two consecutive acolyte shots and about 3 seconds of direct flamer and the Banshee will stop.. knowing this I can play rather aggressively.

And I use my cyclonics, fortification DR, and Dodge DR to great affect to avoid spikes of damage from her scream attack. Of course.. dodging warps is also important and you never want to eat a warp without at least attempting a dodge unless the banshee is the last alive and you're trying to increase up time (since warp won't stagger you out of Flamer)
