I think I said something like "Ashley isn't good with romance" or something like that. It was a joke, and honestly, you tell me when in your life talking about politics with a girl you like is a good idea, especially if your political views don't match.

Rannoch should have been written better.

You don't blame the character, you blame the writer. Weekes should have written it better tbh

then you should blame the writer for every problem with any character if your going with that attitude

When I talk about these characters, it is easier to say "Ashley", than whoever wrote her.

@Flare, no one in ME2... does... anything drastic when they disagree...

In ME1, Wrex does. In ME2, the VS does. In ME3, Legion does.

Judging someone, anyone, by the actions of their military, stuff that happened over 20 years ago, is racist to me.

Would you just kill your friend/boyfriend? Tali is an emotional wreck in that scene, she is shocked and frustrated, suicide makes more sense. This is also one of the countless reasons, why I'd never pick the Geth, Tali would kill herself, Legion would try to kill you.

Really? I always felt as though Tali would be willing to do anything for her people. She doesn't even try to stop Shepard or Legion uploading the code. Tali committing suicide would only make sense if Shepard was in a personal relationship with her. I like Tali but her death scene was really bad.

If you see it that way, sure. But I doubt even if Shepard decided to kill off her race, Tali wouldn't have the guts to shoot Shepard. The suicide just seems more believable of the two options.

I don't. Did you not see my response on the previous page? If someone said Liara or Garrus worship, as much as I love them, I would agree.

She just suggests letting them wander around the engineering and command levels might not be the best idea, which isn't hugely unreasonable for a military ship. Hell, Wrex is a mercenary for crying out loud. A mercenary whose reason for coming along is 'I want to be where the action is'.

In what world does Legion try to kill Shepard if Shepard sides wih the geth?

The asari have no proper "governing body", just a vast and sprawling low-level democracy. Their High Command - the military - is likely not democratic in any fashion.

The salarians are ruled by Dalatrasses who rules more akin to queens than presidents.

The krogan are a 'might makes right' autocracy/meritocracy, just like the turians. The turians are just better organized.

The geth, like the asari, have a wide low-level democracy in the Consensus.

The quarians have the closest to a democratic government, however each ship captain is still fully autonomous and autocratic in practice.

Therefore, the Alliance has the sole mandate of reforming the galaxy's goverments so they fit a more acceptable standard.

she has her reasons not to trust aliens, and they make sense, and so do her predictions and what she says about to aliens wandering on a high tech human ship.  that and you can convince her to change her views.

Fair enough, but that's really much more of a problem with the writers and how they approached how squadmates reacted to your choices. Players would probably complain if their allies actively prevented them from making certain choices, just look at how people reacted to Ashley/Kaidan on Horizon.

The thing about horizon though is that we had no choice in joining cerberus. thats why its stupid. if they were angry because of something we had choice over it wouldve been much better
