Would you just kill your friend/boyfriend? Tali is an emotional wreck in that scene, she is shocked and frustrated, suicide makes more sense. This is also one of the countless reasons, why I'd never pick the Geth, Tali would kill herself, Legion would try to kill you.

If they directly assisted in the genocide of my entire species, yes I would. I would viciously murder them.

In what world does Legion try to kill Shepard if Shepard sides wih the geth?

You misunderstood my post, if Shep sides with the Quarians, Legion tries to kill him. If Shep sides with the Geth, Tali commits suicide. Which is more likeable?
I seriously doubt you'd be emotionally strong/dead enough to just kill of your best friend/crush/boyfriend. The decision isn't carefully thought through, Shep decides on the spot, it's unrealistic for her to react that fast and that cold. Especially not Tali.

So, you single out Tali for what reason?

Again, like I said on the previous page AND a previous comment on this page, I don't single her out. I agree that Garrus and Liara, two of my fave chars, worship Shep as well.

Fair enough, but that's really much more of a problem with the writers and how they approached how squadmates reacted to your choices. Players would probably complain if their allies actively prevented them from making certain choices, just look at how people reacted to Ashley/Kaidan on Horizon.

Still, then people should not get so offended at a comment like "Tali worships Shepard" when a majority of the chars do so.

So you assume that you have the same personality as Tali? No offense, but I doubt that.

I'm guessing they meant if you pick to destroy the Geth.

Playing devil's advocate, but Necanor is assuming that Shepard is a man who was always nice to Tali throughout the series. What if the Shepard choosing the Geth was a woman mass-murderer who eats babies? What possible affection for Shepard could Tali have?

Seeing as Tali actually tried to shoot Legion just because he hacked her omnitool in ME2, not trying to kill him when her entire race is at risk is pretty out of character. So it's a writing problem, not a character one.

Therefore, the Alliance has the sole mandate of reforming the galaxy's goverments so they fit a more acceptable standard.

The problem with that is that representative democracy sucks.

Fortunately the Systems Alliance parliament was annihilated and replaced with military dictatorship in ME3.

It is the word "Worship". It implies the character can't even think for themselves. Pick a better word.

Neither. One is understandable, the other is f***ing stupid. If I were Legion, I would kill Shepard too of he decided to kill my people.

No thanks. I like the word worship. Perhaps people should not get it twisted when someone calls their character out, right or wrong.

True, I don't disagree that characters doing nothing to stop Shepard is silly, but there's a big difference between 'worship' and 'respect'.

I wouldn't call them Military, instead I refer to them as "clowns". I'm sure the next election will go on though.

I think it's much more than respect. However, that's just my take.

The word "worship" is the problem here. It is not the proper word to use.

I agree that Tali isn't very confrontational. I don't agree she worships Shepard. It's really just a bad word choice on your part.

I actually wish the character/romance forum would re-open. Mods could just close the few threads that were causing trouble and move threads like this over to there.

I agree that she does worship Shepard. She idolizes him practically. I don't think Tali can think for herself. She's young and naive and impressionable, and it's rather pathetic to be honest. She has self-esteem issues.

And by what I've read from you here, I'm extremely glad I don't. No offence, but you seem even more cold, emotionally dead and sociopathic than Massively.

Especially if you'd just shoot your significant other in the head without any hesitation.

She is farthest from confrontational, at least to Shepard. So no, it seems to be right that she can stand up to Legion, the admirals, but not to Shepard, even after he kills her entire species off.

Just this once, if humans aren't the only space faring species in the galaxy, can they be the least of all space faring species.

When was the last time your government changed something that benefits you personally, and was that the result of the state's representatives decreeing that it was the best course of action, or simply a response to the masses demanding it?

Because democracies don't usually go with the latter unless it's a decentralized low-level democracy like the one the asari have.

She doesn't worship or idolize him, but you're partially right, she's young, slightly naive and she does have self-esteem issues(the exact opposite of Miranda).
