I decided to replay NWN1, and it suddenly occured to me, that main NWN theme sounds... familiar

There is an accoustic version in NWN ( it sounds during the prologue in the first location), and there match is even more obvoius. Unfortunately, I could not google it out (and I'm too lazy to extract and record it myself)

I don't think that it was Zur's intention (I love his music for DA, I really do).
But how could BW team 'mishear' such a thing, hmm?

Composers ususaly recycle some very basic main ideas. All musicians do. Not on purpose. I play the guitar and i do it too.
And you are right it does reminds Hawkes family theme.
I wish Inon would score DaI too. His work was fantastic!!!
