Ha you know the best part of this post is your sig, order vs. chaos. That thing in the game is the most ridiculous of all. Chaos and order are neutral points. There can be good and bad of both. At the extreme, chaos is anarchy and mass destruction, order is dictatorship and mass destruction.
The idea that it comes down to Shepard being forced to decide in some ways between which is better is straight out of Babylon 5 and done so much better there. In it both are rejected. Neither order nor chaos are ideal. But BW wants people to choose order every time. Given that, I agree with you and would go for chaos if I had to choose. Chaos is randomness and therefore more likely to create some random good thing. Order however always follows a specified path and will allow for nothing but that which it controls.
