I've had a Praetorian drop a squadmate when I heavy melee'd with a Krogan.

I've also had a Praetorian drop someone from a Turian light melee...

Here is a question because I'm sure this happened to me today. On rio I was banshee grabbed, it looked hopeless and then a ravager from a distance away fired it's cannon at me and the banshee dropped me. No team mates were near.

Has anyone ever had the bad guys do this before?

No but they do need to evaluate sync kills in other ways. Perhaps a little more time before a Banshee can instakill after phasing through a wall. Phantoms actually having to melee the player they instakill instead of others or the air. A CD on player stagger like enemies have.

Maybe give it a cooldown of 30 to 60s so a team sticking together would not be totally immune to sync kills but teamwork and having a squad mate near you fighting side by side would greatly decrease the chance of being sync killed.
And it really makes the one saving the squade mate feel like a hero.

so.. two Krogans would never be synced if they stay together and spam Heavy Melee.. nope. This doesn't work.

There are already ways to save teammates.. do more damage (pay attention) and stagger phantoms (pay attention).

Exactly. It's all about paying attention. When you know the mechanics it's really not that bad.

Exactly. It's all about paying attention. When you know the mechanics it's really not that bad.

I've never been sync killed when I have a good Destroyer using a Striker on my team.

Yes, a cooldown timer for saving players from sync kills would be necessary to avoid that.
Beside that it would make the game more fun, wouldn't it?
