I see some people on my list who I never added too, like "umadm16yolo", don't know who the **** that is. Maybe it's somebody I knew before who changed their origin id.

I've done "repair install" and "reload my games" -- nothing. Sign in and out a couple of times, no success either.
Tried to open a lobby and push the "invite friends" button, then the game comes up with a message "you have to enable origin in game ...." yeah.
The FL isn't working/loading properly as well .

The last thing working was accepting a friend request yesteday evening. He's still there BTW.

I've got the same problem. I can't access Origin ingame, I can't even Alt+Tab out of ME3 anymore. I've enabled Origin ingame, updated ME3, deleted and re-added Origin and ME3 to my firewall's whitelist like suggested here. No results.

The AV-software appears not to negatively affect the game and/or origin.
I've deleted the policies in the FW of origin.exe, origin client.exe and Mass Effect3.exe. After that, readded as "allowed" or whatever it's called in your application. And taddaaa:wizard:.

Glad I could help. After unchecking "Don't show welcome message when game starts" it seems to work for me too now.

Someone sent me a friend request tonight and I can see the "accept" button, but if I click it nothing happens.

What is the max number you can have? I doubt I am there unless it is a weird number. I thought it was 100 or something.

Yep. Origin crashed and now my FL wont load, and the ingame origin was causing my game to freeze up for like 10 seconds multiple times in a single game. These issues never happened to be before, but now this update just had to go and screw up everything.

Actually I don't know if that was part of my problem bc after I posted, I lost my friends list... logged off and back on and just got the spinning circle, then an error message that it couldn't connect.

It finally loaded just now, but now I don't see the friend request any longer.

I couldnt accept a FR because the sender had too many friends, so I went to their profile page and sent a FR myself............... and that convinced Origin I accepted his FR.

Ohh, the FL...yeah.
Is working, I mean, kind of. Nothing you can rely on.

We invited a friend yesterday and he said, he can't see either one of us being online or in-game. At least he got the invite. This happened before the update as well, but it seems to get worse.

Origin in-game works mostly now. (For me)
Sometimes when either FRAPS or MSI Afterburner is launched it's not working anymore...but only sometimes.
Actually I thought is had something to do with those pgm's but since origin in-game continues working after launching them, I'm not really sure about it.
I've tried several times to reboot the system and launch MSI, FRAPS and Mass Effect 3 in different orders. It seems, that if Mass Effect is launched last, origin in-game is not working.

Unfortunately I haven't figured out a special "trick" to get it working all the time, those errors or malfunctionings occur just randomly, at least it looks like it.

Well now I cant even play cause every time I start the game, it crashes at the main menu. Repair install did nothing, and checking for updates didnt help either. If anybody knows how to fix this then please tell me how, cause I really dont know what to do right now. Thanks.

I think they are doing something in the background. I had all kinds of problems with last origin update. Fixed it. The fix lasted 2 days and this morning it turned to S""t again.
