I can solo Cerberus but not on glacier like the speed runners. I've been trying to get a sub 20 gold solo and have came close vs. geth and reapers. But I usually rage quit on wave 7 against Cerberus. I don't know how they do it

To me, soloing Cerberus requires Dragoon Hunting on objective waves.

They have a limited budget, regardless of the fact it is an objective wave; if it is a 1234 they must die or you will loldieloldieloldie.

I think the devs completely overreacted with the Dragoon.

Melee-centric enemy?
Oh, awesome. He must've been the lash guy in the trailer.

He's got a gun, too?
     Ok, so a guy-Phantom, I suppose.

He's super fast?
     Kinda unfair...

He's also armored?
     What...

Uninterruptable animations, never takes cover, and has the ability to smash-cancel?
     The ****?!?

Dragoons are staggerable but are decidedly less staggerable than an Atlas. That's ridiculous.

I know. It's just that jumping smash move I'm so jelly of always catches me when I'm in the middle of trying to stagger them for breathing room. Or you'd drop two and two more will spawn right the **** behind me and stagger me out of cover and into a bullet burrito.

The number of times that Dragoons have staggered me right into a phantom sync kill is not countable on one hand.

It's countable on many.

Biower pls

I love facing cerby/reapers, my preferred characters are all CQC specialists, those wimpy dragoons go down to a Charge/nova pretty damn fast, and Shadow strike just owns everything. Those miserable phantoms go down to 2 SS or a few BC/nova/smash. Nemesis hiding in an obscure area, sniping you and your teammates? Lol, biotic charge/shadow strike all day long.

Just do me a favor and kill those banshees for me, seeing as how they love  insta-grabbing you so I try not to ever BC/SS a banshee unless it's back is turned to me. I'll gladly help kill everything but banshee's, I play smart when it comes to those b****es.

Indeed.  Acolyte+Charge -> Phantom is even cheesier than the crutchbine, and I love it.

@Ishy: I've been a proud user of that cheese for almost a year now XD
Besides, even if you don't cheese it that way, biotic charge alone is already enough to steamroll cerberus... Which I just love to do. My favourite faction to wtfpawn.

Watch out for Dragoons?  Turrets, yes, but Dragoons?  I love them when playing Asari Vanguard.  In fact, I sometimes intentionally leave some alive until they are the last enemies just so I can toy with them.  So much fun.  Even better than Brutes VS Vorcha Matador!!

Now, on topic.  I don't really solo much, so I can't speak for that, but Cerberus is definately my least favorite gold enemy.  Stupid Phantoms.  I hate having to set up my build specifically just to take down one unit in one faction in order to play random enemy.

And there are way too many of them. My poor Vorcha (who has little problems with Phantoms) once spent and entire wave fighting one Phantom at a time.  Kill one, another appears.  I took on Phantom after Phantom, one at a time on the far side of the map from the rest of the team while they took on the rest of the wave.  It was just weird.  At the end of the wave, I had killed I-have-no-clue-how-many Phantoms, and two troopers...  I did hear someone on a mic wonder why he didn't see any Phantoms all wave though. ^_^

I personally find a geth solo easier than Cerberus solo ON SOME MAPS because geth pretty much walk in a straight line at you. perfect for snipers.

and QFI sabotage lulz

Maybe when playing in team, but soloing the dragoons can stagger party you and put you in nuke situations.

In team I found Cerb the easiest on gold. Atlas are big sitting ducks, phantoms are too predictable, nemesis sex-toy, dragoons dumb people running in straight line to you but not as the engineers they're just so retarded I put them out fast for pitty  and cause they drop turrets if don't.

Wich vorcha you play?

Hmm, I've never really had any trouble at all with Dragoons while playing Asari Vanguard.  I tend to use a light weapon, usually the Disciple, so that I can keep my BC cooldown fast.  Which means I can BC more often than they can smash.  I will admit though, I haven't played AV on gold.  I always end up playing it point blank range and very suicidaly,  having to BC every single time the cooldown is up just to stay alive.  I'm scared to try it on gold because I'll probably end up dying five or six times per wave because of the enemy damage increase...

Vorcha Sentinel with Hurricane IX. Between the gun and flamer, Phantoms don't stand a chance.

I find gold is the difficulty it is most effective on. A good mix of troops and bosses. Silver doesn't have enough bosses, so the troopers tend to rip through your almost non-existent shields and average health too easily, since they tend to be harder do avoid then bosses attacks are. I find I actually have to play Vorcha more carefully on Silver than on Gold. Platinum has too many bosses, it's hard to keep bloodlust stacks up when your enemies all have high health.

Play as an Asari Vanguard, Stasis bubble, Lift nades... and to even make it more cheesy take an Acolyte or Scorpion (stagger effect on enemies like phantoms or dragoons is great) with you as a sidearm. Remember to take out engineers before they can set up their turrets. Hope you don't get 4 devices on objective waves (that can get hairy on a small map like glacier for example) and you should be fine. That's how I did a gold solo against Cerberus and I am only an average player.

N7 Slayer likes laughing at Cerberus.

You could always pack a Scorpion or Falcon. If you are not a fan of them, then anything that staggers will do.

You can screw over Phantoms if you get them to bring up their bubble o' space magic. Just use a power on it and as long as you are not too close, then the Phantom decides it is time to stand still.

Someone mentioned it earlier, but kill Dragoons on Objective waves, they seem to have a set amount that can spawn. I finding getting into CQC with a Dragoon can be good, shoot them while they go for their Smash, sidestep the Smash and then finish them off.

I used this build. Wasn't too difficult because it can deal with everything from the Dragoons / Phantoms to the Atlas' and Assault Troopers.

Except that Phantoms now move while in their DR bubble. They run, they flip, they shoot. Phantom doesn't care.

Dragoons took Cerberus' "tactical approach" by the ass and threw it out of the twentieth story (phantoms kind of already did this but they werent running around like crack addicts). As if phantoms sniping wasnt enough of a pain. Also gotta love it when they stomp you before you hit the ground. Lovely.

That only seems to happen if you hit them while they are flipping about. In my experience anyway.

I love to use Asari Adept against cerby. I just point and laugh like a school bully when mrs phantom, is stuck in a stasis bubble, just waiting to be detonated.

Also, I have to laugh when I hear a nemesis shout "How dare you!"

Cerberus is a joke to Juggernaut.

Troopers/Centurions/Guardians/Engineers => Headshots... Headshots everywhere...
Phantoms/Nemeses => Force choke to death. Yeahhhh, let the sweet taste of revenge flow through your veins
Dragoons => Burn them, burn them with fire! And occasionally throw some siege pulse for fireworks. Splendid!
Turrets => Just deploy Hex Shield and deal with it whatever way you want
Atlas => Bring it on! Heavy melee, shoot... Heavy melee, shoot... Repeat. Profit!

That's only a graphic glitch, as far as I know. If you force them into bubble, then deplete their barriers that will force them to move/hide/flip. If you do that quick enough, the bubble will still be visible around her but you can damage her with powers. I believe the animation has a minimum time it stays on for.

Agreed. Cerberus was more fun before the Lolgoons. Although it was a bit too easy before.

There's a cap of 3 on wave 3, and 6 on wave 6.
