I can't tell if this thread is just pro-saber or if it is anti-argus. I think it's a great gun despite it being confusing (slow firing, powerful burst rifle. sounds long range but the spread/recoil is horrible for that) and for the weight. It's fun but I can see why people would pick alternatives.

I asked because I haven't really tried to use any of theese ARs yet (can't remember how long I have actually had them)
 
Thought that the Argus was preferred because I have it levelled up to 7 and my Saber is only at level 2. Could I b more wrong (lol)

Seems like the love for the Saber among BSN'ers outscores the love for the Argus bigtime  :-)

The only thing the Argus has going for it is it's beautiful modification of the Mattock, and the fact that it's the sound of three Big Iron shots going off.

Sadly, it's the gun with the biggest bark and the softest bite.

Argus is ok, but I really only use it on Turians. Saber is awesome, if you can hit things in the head.

Not sure how good the argus actually is relatively speaking, though I like the idea of the sabre and tend to use that.

I don't really have a good response. I do buy packs and just seem to have bad luck with the Saber. The store's random. Glad you got fortunate with Veteran packs, though.

as it's been mentioned, the Saber and Argus both excel in the hands of Turians, but the Saber is also great on the MQE and Quarian Marksman imo.

tbh; saber and the kynease sniper riffle are the most boring gun for me; the seem so slow! and I dont notice any change, I have it at VIII and is my hight UR but only used it once!

The question was sincere as I still have much to learn about gun/character synergy. I was indeed prepared though for instant trolling too although the thread has been relatively smooth so far - lol

I like to play using Turians and Geth (especially GI &GE), and I like to play the stagger/headshot way. Think the saber's gonna b a great friend! :-)

when I get to get the final headshot on a Geth prime and watch that head explode! So cool. :-)

Harrier is great but have bn used a little too much (and my harrier is only lvl 2 as well, so!!)

Heard the Avenger is great too. Jus't can't find the "full auto" button, although it is actually deadly. You will b killed almost instantly using it unless you fancy running/hiding a lot.

I personally like the Argus because it sounds like a real beefy gun when you shoot it, but I like the Saber because of it's high damage and high accuracy. I've seen plenty of people using the Saber on the TGI and they do real well with it.

if you're looking for outright performance prob the saber, but if you want to kill with style and good looks use the argus.. the saber is fugly.

I haven't used the Argus enough to comment on it, but the Saber is one of my favorites. It's probably slightly unusual, but I especially like the Saber on the Huntress.
