Early in the first Mass Effect, they make a big deal about Eden Prime being on the fringes of the Terminus Systems. But it's in the Exodus Cluster in Alliance Space, which is right between Citadel Space, and the Attican Travers which is the frontier of the Council. Eden Prime is closer to the Citadel than planet in the Attican Travers which is Council Space and right next to the Terminus Systems!
The point is, Eden Prime is NO WHERE NEAR the Terminus Systems. Why do they say it's in the fringes of them?

Isn't the traverse unsafe by itself? In ME3 human space stretches pretty far to the "northeast", but in ME1 that whole region is pretty uncontrolled and full of pirates.
Or maybe it's just very few relay jumps? Don't remember how it is now, but that would be more important than actual proximity.

The attican traverse is just as dangerous as the terminus systems in mass effect lore, full of pirates, mercenaries, slave traders and crime syndicates.
Its a bit silly that its no where near the terminus systems in proximity, but that's the kind of mistake that's fairly acceptable in my eyes.
