You know those statues you see on your map of Kirkwall and other places in the hills, I feel just like them every time I see them. Just completed my first play through an Im really disappointed. I disliked all the characters, puns, enemies, no boss fights an if they were they were too easy. I played on normal but it was too easy. Dragon age origins on normal my first time at least given me a challenege. Maybe later on after im done with my nightmare run on origins ill do a nightmare run on da2 but for now im going to finish my 2nd playthrough of mass effect trilogy. Any thoughts, experiences, and opinions on the game? Im not going to get any dlcs for da2 because it was trying too hard to be like mass effect 2 and too easy as you progress.
My only rival was fenris and I killed him with ease at the final battle. My fem hawke romanced Isabella. and I was a blood mage only and did a little primal and arcane. The other two specs seemed useless so I didn't put anything into either of them. My next playthrough will be probably during the winter break and this time ill stick to my gender and just be a jerk to everyone considering how everyone was a whiny little grrrr. WTF Anders, Sandal, Isabella, and all yall especially CARVER!!!!!

What about Varric? If you play as a warrior or rogue you get the sister. In my opinion I like the sister best because she is easier to get friendship points with. I think Anders was way better in awakening then in DA2. Isabella is just....well Isabella lol. She may have some funny lines but I always bring Varric along even as a rogue, though for other classes I bring him along to pick locks and stuff.

eh Varric was a rival but sided with me anyway. I don't really care for Varric and the only reason why I even bother to use him was just for lockpicking. Next playthrough Im not romancing anyone and im just gonna go full renegade as they call it in Mass effect.

I think Varric is one of the characters that wont leave you. He is telling the story after all so that could be a reason that he sticks with hawke no matter what. The romance options may not be as great in DA2 but i go with one any way. >> and i really dont care for the default look for male hawke....he kinda looks like that sheriff from robin hood men in tights and I dont really care for either voice actor for hawke. When it comes to voice actors i think mass effect has the better voice actors for the main character of the story. I prefer femsheps voice actor over broshep.

Agreed! Starting my replay of ME1 to ME3. Should be done with all three in a week or 10 days depending on what Im doing. Start my second year of College August 24th so Im trying to get all my saves on my USB before then an uninstall these games for space on laptop. Anyone choose to be good (paragon) or bad (renegade) in dragon age 2. Im a renegade person but in certain situations I do whats just.

For me i find it a bit hard to figure out what is just in some situations. Sure it might be just to help the mages but then again you have mages who use blood magic and murder people. Like what happens to hawkes mother. Sure not all mages are like that but it seems that kirkwall just seems to have all the crazy mages in one place...
