For some reasons I find those newbies to be more experienced than those who bought the game on Christmas. Less leeching, less rushing to the LZ, more use of consumables. How the f*ck am I suppose to topscore then?

GI lol reegar.

lol...yeah thats very true. The pugs I run into lately are....not too bad. You can tell they are new but still seem to do quite well. I pug'd yesterday and a guy asked me if he could play a level 1 on Gold and Im like...sure why not? I come from the days of leveling up your N7 on Gold and when Platinum came out we would do it there as well ...everyone else was level 20 so it was no problem helping out especially since he asked nicely. The guy was definitely new but he did great. I think he only died like maybe 3 or 4 times and was a total team player.

There's been a lot if newbie-esque questions posted over the last several weeks, nice to see some fresh meat.

Been a Mass Effecter since '07. Only jumped on BSN last year to post a joke that a friend was too scared to do himself.

and thus "baby you down" was born. B)

Oddly, I see more bulldsh!t and (failed) scorewh*ring from (relatively) old players than from the new ones. That came as a big surprise when I came back from holidays.

Lol. Not even sure. I'll continue using all my nine rockets on extraction since that's so effective.

Long time lerker, played since release, just joined BSN in march when I made the switch to PS3 after the RROD with my Xbox.

I pugged a few matches on my brothers account the other day and it was all n7's under 100 and that was for at least 5 or so different matches. Still a lot of new players out there and I try to direct them to bsn. There is knowledge here, just have to make it through the gauntlet of standard replies and you will eventually get an answer or two that is helpful.

For the most part I feel that the BSN community is good as a whole, and all new posters must make it through a "hazing" period or atleast play a few games with the community's more vocal members.

I like newbies in lobby at least they TRY even if they aren't very effective.  Just not three at a time please.  :crying:
I like to give them a go before recommending they step it down a notch. :police:

A lot of people who r new to the game probably dont come to this site at all. The new batch of players do seem to at least kno what they r doing to a certain extent, they r at least not a burden. I still see a lot of running 2 the LZ on wave 11 tho.

I started the MP just a short bit before the trilogy came out, so I am fairly new. I did quite a bit of lurking and read as many build/mechanics/strategy posts as I could find. Still converting it into practice though lol.

I've been around since the beginning of ME... at the tail end of the old forums. But I'm relatively new to the MP forums of this site.

Wasn't all that in to the MP until now. I know certain tactics like how to kite the enemies around the map or when to go for LZ or objectives just from playing the game off and on. I just still struggle at putting together builds that wreck house. I can rack up a decent amount of points from guns only b/c I'm fairly skilled at TPS and FPS's (and can pop medi-gels and ops packs with the best of them lol :P) but I still need all the information about how to build classes for maximum ownage.

I like playing with the new players. I will occasionally go down to silver to find newer players that I can bring up to gold matches. I will usually pug silver my first match on the weekends in the morning as I am usually still half asleep/hungover/both and drinking my coffee.

Are you on xbox?  I've noticed the same thing but haven't seen all too many knewbies on bsn as well.

Yeah Im on xbox. Every since the price decrease its like thousands of new players came to ME3. I mean A LOT. I get pug lobbies full in seconds with different GT's left and right. Its a cool thing to see.

It's been my experience as well.  I PUG gold quite a bit and see a lot of newcomers to the game every night.  Finding a game lobby on any difficulty is not a problem.  It's amazing that this game still keeps brining people online.  I think Bioware created something special here and I'm hoping they take it a make it even better when the next ME comes out.  Image IPB

I've only been playing for 3 months. The resource library and watching videos by invaderone, xcal, and caineghis got me started playing gold pretty quick

Had the game since launch, but have taken many breaks from the game. Right now I am in to it more than I have ever been and posting on BSN more even though I have had a BSN account for over 2 years.
