In my playthrough, Fereldan had no King. Allistair's codex even said so. Queen Anora was just fine, thank you very much. It's entirely possible that Queen Anora married someone else, but is there any idea who that is? Allistair would not accept that kind of authority unless duped by his buddy, the Warden. I'm just curious if any of you have an idea who the mystery king if it's not Allistair.

I have a question here, sorry if this has been answered before. During Act 3 (about nine years after Dragon Age: Origins - if I understood correctly), Aveline will tell you that she could be reinstated in Fereldan by leaving the guard, on the orders of the (new) King.

In all likelihood its a dialogue glitch that slipped through. Aveline will also make mention of "the queen" (on my Mistress import), even if Alistair rules alone.
Anora never marries (unless it's to a Cousland PC or arranged in Origins to Alistair).
