So I've been playing silver for a while, and I'm thinking about stepping up to Gold, but there's just something I've been wondering. How many credits do you get approximately for a complete match on Gold (Silver nets 30k to 33k)?

Also, what does platinum give you? (dont plan on playing that for a WHILE, but just wondering)

plat nets 120-150k iirc.

I just started the move to gold recently myself, and the best advice I could give you is to find 2-5 kits you are super comfortable with until you get used to the new speed, larger enemy defenses, larger wave budget, etc.

Also, a class that has higher resiliency is always nice (i.e. Vorcha, AIU, Salarians vs Geth). These provide you with more room for error

N7 Paladin any good for gold? and currently my best soldier and vanguard are both the regular humans, are they any good on gold (I can kick some serious ass with the human soldier)

Here's my Soldier Build

Not sure if that's a good build. Any suggestions? and what weapons are good to use with him? N7 Eagle good on him?

N7 Paladin is great mainly because of Snap Freeze and that the 100% combo damage evolution is bugged to be always on, even if you don't take it(If I remember right, you do need to take range at rank 4).

If you have a Human Vanguard or anybody with Chain Overload in the game with you, just follow them around and Snap Freeze their targets, then watch everything die to cryo explosions. Otherwise just do a standard Snap Freeze -> Incinerate/Energy Drain and it's still a solid kit. Also remember that Snap Freeze does go through walls.

Human Soldier is amazing if you have a solid weapon for her to use with Adrenaline Rush. Claymore is always a solid choice.

The Novaguard is a very powerful detonator and is quite durable when played right, although it can be a bit tricky at first since making a mistake can result in you getting instantly killed, sometimes in a place where your teammates wont be able to revive you(or sometimes just sync killed with no chance of revival).

I honestly haven't used the N7 Paladin on Gold yet; but it sounds like I should lol.  I did pretty well with him on Silver and I saw some amazing gameplay by Dunvi using him recently.
I would go with this build as a base, drop the last of passive if you want incinerate.  Also, spec into shield mastery of choice.
here's the vid.
The human soldier could be very good with AR and a good weapon. I haven't used HV on gold or really even silver much.

Good Luck! :D

Builds will vary.  The only thing that is non-negotiable is maxing Snap Freeze.  Here's what I would typically use - Paladin

Weapons of choice (imo) - Wraith, Hurricane, Talon, Reegar, Harrier, Scorpion, Piranha, Raider, Geth Shotgun, Lancer, Paladin.

Honestly, I wouldn't spec out of full shield mastery because it greatly enhance your light melee and requires no recharge time. Though the evolutions you've chosen are good too

The N7 Paladin is awesome - he can set up and detonate tech explosions (TB/FE/CEs) with so much ease. He is my go to kit for gold games. Human vanguard - if you play him tactically, he is the best detonator in the game with his Nova. If you have a BE/FE primer in your team, he is incredible. He is great otherwise too as long as you don't charge into groups of powerful enemies.

As far as you HSol build is concerned, I would recommend going for 6a in the AR power tree - helps with some survivability. And I would recommend speccing into frag grenades. I am not expert but these are my thoughts. :)

If you're taking rank 6 of Shield Mastery, I highly recommend taking Fire Shield as the 50% armour sundering from Cryo Shield does not work.

Given your manifest, I would probably go with the Piranha. Eagle would work decently if you want faster cooldowns too.

Choose reach on rank 4, and debuff on rank 6. SF is bugged that if you spec it this way you always got double amount of tech explosion (basically a free 6b).

This is one of the best high scoring kits in the game.

im not really good with frags. That build is almost identical to my campaign build. Im better with concussive shot and AR. Thanks for the input!
