So, I'm going achivement hunting. and on the run I'm currently on I'm also going for completionist, As well as the achivements for having wrex and liara with you while doing them. Without thinking about it, I started the IIos line without finishing all the side missions that require the citadel, I have 12 citadel missions done, and two active UNC that require going to the citadel that I know of. Those being 'Asari Diplomacy' and 'Privateers'

So, without being able to do any more citadel misions, should I still have enough to do for the three achivements? I have 23 side missions done already, but I don't know how many there are total.

Not sure about Completionist, although if you are only missing a few missions I think you can still get it. You should be be able to get the Wrex achievement as long as you have had him in your squad for most of the missions, and I think you may be able to get the Liara achievement as long as you have had her in your squad for most of the missions.

Well, I've been using wrex and liara exclusively since I got them, and I only did the story missions before I picked them up. For what it's worth, here are the missions I've completed.

Done
Citadel: Family Matter
Citadel: Homecoming
Citadel: I remember me
Citadel: Negotiator's Request
Citadel: Our own worst enemy
Citadel: Persidium prophet
Citadel: Reporter's request
Citadel: Rtia's sister is safe
Citadel: Scan the keeper
Citadel: Signal tracking
Citadel: The fan
Citadel: The fourth estate
Feros: data recovery
Feros: Varren meat
Noveria: espionage
Noveria: Smuggling
UNC: besieged base
UNC: hostage
UNC: hostile takeover
UNC: lost freighter
UNC: distress call
UNC: major kyle
UNC: rogue VI
UNC: missing survey team
UNC: the negotiation
Virmire: Kirrahe's team rescued
Virmire: Wrex is convinced
X57: avoid the blasting cap
X57: bring down the sky
X57: missing engineers

Basically, though. Everything that requires the citadel not listed, I'm ****ed out of.

Yeah I think this is the way to do it

I think you might have a problem at least with Liara's ally achievement.

You always acquire her last. And if you switch to Wrex as soon as you get him, you can have him for part of the quest to find evidence against Saren... taking down Fist and rescuing Tali. Then he would be in your party for the whole of Therum.

Then there are the three crew specific missions... Wrex: Family Armor, Garrus: Find Dr Saleon, and Tali's Geth data. Tali's requires completed UNC: Geth Incursion which is a 5 planet mission arc.

If it were me I would just go back to the last save before heading to Illos and wrap up some more of these things. That way you can be sure that you get the ally achievement.
Wrex's achievement should unlock before Liara's... it may unlock on Ilos, but even if it does, I don't know if you will be able to have enough time with Liara after that for hers to unlock.

There are 29 UNC / Side missions in total. You can subtract 1 since you typically don't do both Paragon and Renegade mission (Beseiged Base and Negotiation respectively), and another 4 I am not sure if they actually count for ally achievement (Asari Writings, Signs of Battle, Turian Insignias, Valuable Minerals).

As far as Citadel side missions, there are 20 total, but you can only do 18 as 3 of them are specific to Shepard's background ("I remember me" for Colonist, "Old Friends" for Earth Borne, and "Old, Unhappy, Far-Off things" for Spacer).

Do you guys know how many you need for everything? I have 35 side missions done, which I was told is what you need to get completionist. But it's not there, and I have the main story done up to going to Ilos.

Doesn't your above post only list 30 side missions?

edit: The wording for the achievement is this:

Complete the majority of the game (35 assignments and 15 missions). Experience rewards increase by 5%.

Yea, I did a few more since then and didn't update. I did a few more of the UNC and such.
Weird, though. I have(going off memory since I'm on a different career ATM), 36 side missions and 18 main story missions, but it didn't pop.

Hmmm. I don't know then. It has been a long time since I got that achievement, which would have probably been on my second or third playthrough actually, and that was a long time ago now.

Conceivably it should be possible to have enough of the Missions done before Virmire, and really also enough assignments (since nearly all can be done before Citadel Lockdown).
