Hello, I started playing ME3 for PC today because I'm interested in playing MEHEM. I've never played a game on PC before, and I'm trying to figure out the best ways to play it (graphics settings, lighting, all that). So far the game looks pretty bad compared to the Xbox. I'm guessing that's normal? Anyway, just any general advice with the game settings would help.
Just started playing this game on PC

Go with what your system can handle. Pick the game mode that works best for you. And take it away.
As for the game. Try looking at the Hi Res texture's mod to improve the graphics. BW didn't add support for that so the fans are taking up the slack.

Game really shouldn't look any worse than on xbox unless your computer's specs are not as good as a 360.
There should be a program in the binaries folder that allows you to manipulate the settings for ME3 outside the program. IIRC it has more advanced settings than in game.

The game should look much better than the 360 on any halfway modern PC that isn't running integrated graphics (though even Intel integrated graphics should be good enough to provide a better than console experience on Ivy Bridge or Haswell). Post your system specs and we can give you more specific advice.

I second that. I made the switch from console to PC a few months back. It should look better right outta the box - without any mod or anything added to it. Make sure game graphics setting are optimized - and that your machine can handle it. Unless it is a download, don't run the game without the disc.
